प्र सोमा॑सो विप॒श्चितो॒ऽपां न य॑न्त्यू॒र्मयः॑ | वना॑नि महि॒षा इ॑व ||
prá sómāso vipaścíto 'pā́ṁ ná yanty ūrmáyaḥ vánāni mahiṣā́ iva
The potent Soma juices flow forth like skilled waves of water, moving with the power of mighty buffaloes into the forest.
This verse describes the Soma juice, which is both skilled and powerful. It flows like waves of water and moves with the strength of buffaloes heading into the forest. The Soma juice is depicted as a vital force, energetic and commanding.

ति॒स्रो वाच॒ उदी॑रते॒ गावो॑ मिमन्ति धे॒नवः॑ | हरि॑रेति॒ कनि॑क्रदत् ||
tisró vā́ca úd īrate gā́vo mimanti dhenávaḥ hárir eti kánikradat
Three kinds of utterances are made; the milk-giving cows low, and the tawny one moves, making a cry.

O Soma, purify and flow towards us from all sides, bringing four seas of wealth and thousands of blessings.
