O people, make Agni, the divine, the best worshiper, your messenger in the sacrifice, in association with the fires. He who is firmly established among mortals, upholds truth, has a fiery head, and is the purifier fed with ghee.

When, pure, like a new axe, he comes forth shining, with his own grace and body. He who was born from the two mothers, desired, for divine worship, is wise and purifying.
