स॒त्रा मदा॑स॒स्तव॑ वि॒श्वज॑न्याः स॒त्रा रायोऽध॒ ये पार्थि॑वासः | स॒त्रा वाजा॑नामभवो विभ॒क्ता यद्दे॒वेषु॑ धा॒रय॑था असु॒र्य॑म् ||
satrā́ mádāsas táva viśvájanyāḥ satrā́ rā́yó 'dha yé pā́rthivāsaḥ satrā́ vā́jānām abhavo vibhaktā́ yád devéṣu dhāráyathā asuryàm
Your joys are always for the benefit of all people, and so are your earthly riches. You have always been the distributor of strength, since you hold divine power among the gods.
This verse celebrates Indra's constant and universal blessings. His intoxicating joys and earthly riches are for everyone's benefit. He is the distributor of strength and possesses divine power and authority among the gods.

People worship you, and thereby gain your strength, and are inspired by your prowess. They harness you for the powerful horses and for the slaying of Vritra.
People worship Indra, thereby gaining his strength and inspiring him to heroic deeds. They harness his power for the swift, powerful steeds and even for the slaying of Vritra, highlighting Indra's role in cosmic battles and providing support.

Inspiring aids, heroic and manly strengths, and powers follow you, Indra. As rivers flow into the ocean, so do our songs, full of praise and vast in scope, enter you.
All beneficial forces – divine aid, strength, and courage – are associated with Indra. Like rivers flowing into the ocean, the hymns and praises sung by devotees, filled with the power of recitation, reach and fill the vast and all-encompassing Indra.

O Indra, you who are praised, let flow the wealth. You have become the lord of riches, and of men without equal; you are the sole king of all the world.
The poet invokes Indra, asking him to release the abundance of wealth. Indra is declared to be the supreme ruler, unequaled among all people and the sole king of the entire universe, possessing great riches.

Hear, O Indra, O you who are eager for praise, as the sky surrounds the earth, protect our riches. May you be pleased by our strength and by our understanding in every age.
The devotee urges Indra to hear their plea, comparing his protective role to the sky enveloping the earth, guarding the wealth of his followers. They wish for Indra's favor, so that he may be pleased with their strength and knowledge, evident in every age.
