When, O Indra, will our prayers find rest with your chariot? When will you give sustenance to the singer, enough for thousands? When will you bestow abundance upon this poet's praise? And when will you make our thoughts rich with treasures?
The poet, addressing the god Indra, earnestly inquires when he will bestow his favor. He asks when Indra's presence will be felt alongside his chariot, when he will provide abundant sustenance for the singer's praise, and when he will enrich the poet's hymns with wealth and prosperity.

When indeed, O Indra, Most Powerful, will you make this prayer all-sustaining for the singer? When will you, like us joining hymns, harness your powers? When will you come to the offerings rich with cattle?
The poet implores Indra, the most powerful, to make the sacred chant universally beneficial for the singer. He asks when Indra will harness his divine forces, comparable to how hymns are yoked, and when he will attend to offerings that bring wealth, especially in the form of cattle.

O Hero, O Shakra, lead this present obstacle away differently! How do you reveal your strength? Do not cease from giving the cow that yields pure gifts. O Sage, invigorate the Angirasas with devotion.
The poet urges Indra to act decisively and overcome obstacles, referring to him as the 'hero' and 'Shakra' (the powerful one). He asks Indra to reveal his presence and power, not to cease giving, and to invigorate the Angiras clan with devotion and praise, particularly through the 'Brahman' (sacred knowledge or prayer) which is like a cow yielding pure gifts.
