    Stanza 6.10.1

    पु॒रो वो॑ म॒न्द्रं दि॒व्यं सु॑वृ॒क्तिं प्र॑य॒ति य॒ज्ञे अ॒ग्निम॑ध्व॒रे द॑धिध्वम् | पु॒र उ॒क्थेभिः॒ स हि नो॑ वि॒भावा॑ स्वध्व॒रा क॑रति जा॒तवे॑दाः ||

    puró vo mandráṁ divyáṁ suvr̥ktím prayatí yajñé agním adhvaré dadhidhvam purá ukthébhiḥ sá hí no vibhā́vā svadhvarā́ karati jātávedāḥ

    Install Agni, the joyful and divine, before you in the sacrifice, who advances with hymns. For he, the luminous Jātavedas, makes our offerings well-made and pleasing.

    Stanza 6.10.2

    तमु॑ द्युमः पुर्वणीक होत॒रग्ने॑ अ॒ग्निभि॒र्मनु॑ष इधा॒नः | स्तोमं॒ यम॑स्मै म॒मते॑व शू॒षं घृ॒तं न शुचि॑ म॒तयः॑ पवन्ते ||

    tám u dyumaḥ purvaṇīka hotar ágne agníbhir mánuṣa idhānáḥ stómaṁ yám asmai mamáteva śūṣáṁ ghr̥táṁ ná śúci matáyaḥ pavante

    Hear this glorious praise, O Agni, radiant, multi-faceted priest. For you, kindled by human fires, we offer this hymn with strength, as if for personal gain, like pure ghee; these thoughts flow forth.

    Stanza 6.10.3

    पी॒पाय॒ स श्रव॑सा॒ मर्त्ये॑षु॒ यो अ॒ग्नये॑ द॒दाश॒ विप्र॑ उ॒क्थैः | चि॒त्राभि॒स्तमू॒तिभि॑श्चि॒त्रशो॑चिर्व्र॒जस्य॑ सा॒ता गोम॑तो दधाति ||

    pīpā́ya sá śrávasā mártyeṣu yó agnáye dadā́śa vípra ukthaíḥ citrā́bhis tám ūtíbhiś citráśocir vrajásya sātā́ gómato dadhāti

    He thrives in glory among mortals, who, a wise one, offers to Agni with hymns. Agni, with shining brilliance and wondrous help, grants him the attainment of a stable full of cows.

    Stanza 6.10.4

    आ यः प॒प्रौ जाय॑मान उ॒र्वी दू॑रे॒दृशा॑ भा॒सा कृ॒ष्णाध्वा॑ | अध॑ ब॒हु चि॒त्तम॒ ऊर्म्या॑यास्ति॒रः शो॒चिषा॑ ददृशे पाव॒कः ||

    ā́ yáḥ papraú jā́yamāna urvī́ dūredŕ̥śā bhāsā́ kr̥ṣṇā́dhvā ádha bahú cit táma ū́rmyāyās tiráḥ śocíṣā dadr̥śe pāvakáḥ

    He who, when born, filled the wide earth and sky with his far-reaching radiance, and whose dark path was left behind, was seen with light, the pure one.

    Stanza 6.10.5

    नू न॑श्चि॒त्रं पु॑रु॒वाजा॑भिरू॒ती अग्ने॑ र॒यिं म॒घव॑द्भ्यश्च धेहि | ये राध॑सा॒ श्रव॑सा॒ चात्य॒न्यान्त्सु॒वीर्ये॑भिश्चा॒भि सन्ति॒ जना॑न् ||

    nū́ naś citrám puruvā́jābhir ūtī́ ágne rayím maghávadbhyaś ca dhehi yé rā́dhasā śrávasā cā́ty anyā́n suvī́ryebhiś cābhí sánti jánān

    Now, Agni, with your wonderful and powerful help, grant us and the wealthy abundant riches. They who surpass others with gifts, fame, and heroic virtue, make them flourish.

    Stanza 6.10.6

    इ॒मं य॒ज्ञं चनो॑ धा अग्न उ॒शन्यं त॑ आसा॒नो जु॑हु॒ते ह॒विष्मा॑न् | भ॒रद्वा॑जेषु दधिषे सुवृ॒क्तिमवी॒र्वाज॑स्य॒ गध्य॑स्य सा॒तौ ||

    imáṁ yajñáṁ cáno dhā agna uśán yáṁ ta āsānó juhuté havíṣmān bharádvājeṣu dadhiṣe suvr̥ktím ávīr vā́jasya gádhyasya sātaú

    Agni, favor this sacrifice with joy, which, as you sit here, the offering bearer presents. You accepted well-made hymns among the Bharadvajas; you helped them to obtain abundant sustenance.

    Stanza 6.10.7

    वि द्वेषां॑सीनु॒हि व॒र्धयेळां॒ मदे॑म श॒तहि॑माः सु॒वीराः॑ ||

    ví dvéṣāṁsīnuhí vardháyéḷām mádema śatáhimāḥ suvī́rāḥ

    Scatter our enemies, increase our wealth. May we rejoice for a hundred winters with heroic sons.
