Stanza 6.11.1

yájasva hotar iṣitó yájīyān ágne bā́dho marútāṁ ná práyukti ā́ no mitrā́váruṇā nā́satyā dyā́vā hotrā́ya pr̥thivī́ vavr̥tyāḥ

O Priest Agni, sacrifice with eagerness, as if impelled by the Maruts, you who are the most worthy! Bring to us, O Mitra and Varuṇa, O Nāsatya, O Heaven and Earth, your divine presence for this offering!

Stanza 6.11.2

tváṁ hótā mandrátamo no adhrúg antár devó vidáthā mártyeṣu pāvakáyā juhvāā̀ váhnir āsā́gne yájasva tanvàṁ táva svā́m

You, O Agni, are our guileless, most delightful priest, the God among mortals who knows our gatherings. With your purifying tongue and mouth, O Agni, sacrifice your own self, the carrier!

Stanza 6.11.3

Indeed, the blessed longing in you makes the Goddesses desire to draw the Gods to the singer who worships. When the most excellent Angiras, the wise poet, sings with a sweet rhythm, in worship!

Stanza 6.11.4

ádidyutat sv ápāko vibhā́vā́gne yájasva ródasī urūcī́ āyúṁ ná yáṁ námasā rātáhavyā añjánti suprayásam páñca jánāḥ

The wise and brilliant Agni has shone forth. O Agni, worship the two widespread worlds! As the Living One, rich in offerings, the five peoples adorn him with homage, just as the eye adorns the sun.

Stanza 6.11.5

I arrange the sacred grass with reverence for Agni. The ghee-filled ladle, with its excellent pouring, is lifted. The altar is established in its place on earth; the sacrifice is directed towards the Sun, like an eye.

Stanza 6.11.6

daśasyā́ naḥ purvaṇīka hotar devébhir agne agníbhir idhānáḥ rāyáḥ sūno sahaso vāvasānā́ áti srasema vr̥jánaṁ nā́ṁhaḥ

Enrich us, O magnificent priest Agni, with the Gods, and with your fires! O Son of Strength, clothed in the robes of riches, may we transcend distress and suffering!
