Stanza 5.18.1

प्रा॒तर॒ग्निः पु॑रुप्रि॒यो वि॒शः स्त॑वे॒ताति॑थिः | विश्वा॑नि॒ यो अम॑र्त्यो ह॒व्या मर्ते॑षु॒ रण्य॑ति ||

prātár agníḥ purupriyó viśá stavetā́tithiḥ víśvāni yó ámartyo havyā́ márteṣu ráṇyati

At dawn, let Agni, the much-beloved guest, be praised by the people. He is the immortal who delights in all the offerings from mortals.

Stanza 5.18.2

द्वि॒ताय॑ मृ॒क्तवा॑हसे॒ स्वस्य॒ दक्ष॑स्य मं॒हना॑ | इन्दुं॒ स ध॑त्त आनु॒षक्स्तो॒ता चि॑त्ते अमर्त्य ||

dvitā́ya mr̥ktávāhase svásya dákṣasya maṁhánā índuṁ sá dhatta ānuṣák stotā́ cit te amartya

To Dvita, who with his own great power carries away injuries, the worshipper, O immortal, firmly establishes the Soma, together with the Soma drops, in continuous succession.

Stanza 5.18.3

तं वो॑ दी॒र्घायु॑शोचिषं गि॒रा हु॑वे म॒घोना॑म् | अरि॑ष्टो॒ येषां॒ रथो॒ व्य॑श्वदाव॒न्नीय॑ते ||

táṁ vo dīrghā́yuśociṣaṁ girā́ huve maghónām áriṣṭo yéṣāṁ rátho vy àśvadāvann ī́yate

With song, I call for your sake that shining one with long life, belonging to the great patrons, whose chariot moves uninjured, O giver of horses!

Stanza 5.18.4

चि॒त्रा वा॒ येषु॒ दीधि॑तिरा॒सन्नु॒क्था पान्ति॒ ये | स्ती॒र्णं ब॒र्हिः स्व॑र्णरे॒ श्रवां॑सि दधिरे॒ परि॑ ||

citrā́ vā yéṣu dī́dhitir āsánn ukthā́ pā́nti yé stīrṇám barhíḥ svàrṇare śrávāṁsi dadhire pári

They who have brilliant thoughts, and guard the sacred hymns within their hearts, and whose sacrificial grass is spread in the sunlit realm, have obtained great glory.

Stanza 5.18.5

ये मे॑ पञ्चा॒शतं॑ द॒दुरश्वा॑नां स॒धस्तु॑ति | द्यु॒मद॑ग्ने॒ महि॒ श्रवो॑ बृ॒हत्कृ॑धि म॒घोनां॑ नृ॒वद॑मृत नृ॒णाम् ||

yé me pañcāśátaṁ dadúr áśvānāṁ sadhástuti dyumád agne máhi śrávo br̥hát kr̥dhi maghónāṁ nr̥vád amr̥ta nr̥ṇā́m

O Agni, glorious immortal, bestow great and radiant glory upon the wealthy patrons who have given me fifty horses for my praise. Grant them heroic fame, O immortal!
