ā́ yajñaír deva mártya itthā́ távyāṁsam ūtáye agníṁ kr̥té svadhvaré pūrúr īḷītā́vase

O god, may a mortal, through these sacrifices, call the mighty one here for help. May Puru, when the sacrifice is well-prepared, call Agni for protection.

asyá vā́sā́ u arcíṣā yá ā́yukta tujā́ girā́ divó ná yásya rétasā br̥hác chócanty arcáyaḥ

asyá krátvā vícetaso dasmásya vásu rátha ā́ ádhā víśvāsu hávyo 'gnír vikṣú prá śasyate

Through the power of his wisdom, wealth is on the chariot of the wonderful one. And Agni, worthy of invocation, is praised among all peoples.

nū́ na íd dhí vā́ryam āsā́ sacanta sūráyaḥ ū́rjo napād abhíṣṭaye pāhí śagdhí svastáya utaídhi pr̥tsú no vr̥dhé

Now indeed, with this, the generous patrons obtain valuable things. O son of strength, protect us for our well-being, help us with your favor, and be present in battles for our growth.
