Stanza 10.188.1

prá nūnáṁ jātávedasam áśvaṁ hinota vājínam idáṁ no barhír āsáde

Now, send forth Jātavedas, the knowing one, like a swift and powerful horse, to grace our sacred altar grass.

Stanza 10.188.2

asyá prá jātávedaso vípravīrasya mīḷhúṣaḥ mahī́m iyarmi suṣṭutím

I offer this great praise to him, Jātavedas, who is rich in gifts and surrounded by wise sages.

Stanza 10.188.3

yā́ rúco jātávedaso devatrā́ havyavā́hanīḥ tā́bhir no yajñám invatu

May he, with those flames of Jātavedas that carry offerings to the gods, advance our sacrifice.
