Stanza 10.185.1
महि॑ त्री॒णामवो॑ऽस्तु द्यु॒क्षं मि॒त्रस्या॑र्य॒म्णः | दु॒रा॒धर्षं॒ वरु॑णस्य ||
máhi trīṇā́m ávo 'stu dyukṣám mitrásyāryamṇáḥ durādhárṣaṁ váruṇasya
May the great, heavenly, and unassailable protection of Mitra, Aryaman, and Varuna be upon us.
This verse invokes the divine protection of three major deities: Mitra, Aryaman, and Varuna. It states that their powerful and unassailable heavenly favor and protection should be great and ever-present for us. These gods are seen as guardians who offer strength and security.

न॒हि तेषा॑म॒मा च॒न नाध्व॑सु वार॒णेषु॑ | ईशे॑ रि॒पुर॒घशं॑सः ||
nahí téṣām amā́ caná nā́dhvasu vāraṇéṣu ī́śe ripúr agháśaṁsaḥ
Indeed, no enemy, speaking evil, has power over them, neither at home nor on the roads or pathways.
This verse asserts that no enemy, no matter how ill-intentioned or malicious, can overcome or control those who are under the protection of these divine beings. This protection extends everywhere, whether one is at home or traveling on distant paths.

Stanza 10.185.3
यस्मै॑ पु॒त्रासो॒ अदि॑तेः॒ प्र जी॒वसे॒ मर्त्या॑य | ज्योति॒र्यच्छ॒न्त्यज॑स्रम् ||
yásmai putrā́so áditeḥ prá jīváse mártyāya jyótir yáchanty ájasram
For him, to whom the Sons of Aditi grant unending light for living, they give.
This verse explains that the 'Sons of Aditi' (a group of benevolent deities, often including Mitra, Varuna, Aryaman, etc.) bestow eternal light and life upon a mortal who is favored by them. This divine light signifies prosperity, knowledge, and a long, flourishing existence.
