Stanza 10.104.1

असा॑वि॒ सोमः॑ पुरुहूत॒ तुभ्यं॒ हरि॑भ्यां य॒ज्ञमुप॑ याहि॒ तूय॑म् | तुभ्यं॒ गिरो॒ विप्र॑वीरा इया॒ना द॑धन्वि॒र इ॑न्द्र॒ पिबा॑ सु॒तस्य॑ ||

ásāvi sómaḥ puruhūta túbhyaṁ háribhyāṁ yajñám úpa yāhi tū́yam túbhyaṁ gíro vípravīrā iyānā́ dadhanvirá indra píbā sutásya

O Indra, invoked by many, the Soma has flowed for you. Come quickly with your horses to the sacrifice. The songs of the wise have reached you; drink this pressed Soma, Indra.

Stanza 10.104.2

अ॒प्सु धू॒तस्य॑ हरिवः॒ पिबे॒ह नृभिः॑ सु॒तस्य॑ ज॒ठरं॑ पृणस्व | मि॒मि॒क्षुर्यमद्र॑य इन्द्र॒ तुभ्यं॒ तेभि॑र्वर्धस्व॒ मद॑मुक्थवाहः ||

apsú dhūtásya harivaḥ píbehá nŕ̥bhiḥ sutásya jaṭháram pr̥ṇasva mimikṣúr yám ádraya indra túbhyaṁ tébhir vardhasva mádam ukthavāhaḥ

O Harivaḥ (possessor of bay horses), drink here the pressed Soma that has been mixed with water. Fill your stomach and be satisfied with it. O Indra, bearer of hymns, grow stronger with this Soma.

Stanza 10.104.3

प्रोग्रां पी॒तिं वृष्ण॑ इयर्मि स॒त्यां प्र॒यै सु॒तस्य॑ हर्यश्व॒ तुभ्य॑म् | इन्द्र॒ धेना॑भिरि॒ह मा॑दयस्व धी॒भिर्विश्वा॑भिः॒ शच्या॑ गृणा॒नः ||

prógrā́m pītíṁ vŕ̥ṣṇa iyarmi satyā́m prayaí sutásya haryaśva túbhyam índra dhénābhir ihá mādayasva dhībhír víśvābhiḥ śácyā gr̥ṇānáḥ

I offer you, O Indra, the Bull, O Harishva (with bay horses), a strong and true drink for your enjoyment. May you be pleased with it. Here, rejoice with our hymns, which are offered with skill and wisdom.

Stanza 10.104.4

ऊ॒ती श॑चीव॒स्तव॑ वी॒र्ये॑ण॒ वयो॒ दधा॑ना उ॒शिज॑ ऋत॒ज्ञाः | प्र॒जाव॑दिन्द्र॒ मनु॑षो दुरो॒णे त॒स्थुर्गृ॒णन्तः॑ सध॒माद्या॑सः ||

ūtī́ śacīvas táva vīryèṇa váyo dádhānā uśíja r̥tajñā́ḥ prajā́vad indra mánuṣo duroṇé tasthúr gr̥ṇántaḥ sadhamā́dyāsaḥ

O Indra, with your protection and might, O master of wisdom, we gain sustenance. We who are wise and know the order of things stand in your house. Singing praises, we become rich in offspring.

Stanza 10.104.5

प्रणी॑तिभिष्टे हर्यश्व सु॒ष्टोः सु॑षु॒म्नस्य॑ पुरु॒रुचो॒ जना॑सः | मंहि॑ष्ठामू॒तिं वि॒तिरे॒ दधा॑नाः स्तो॒तार॑ इन्द्र॒ तव॑ सू॒नृता॑भिः ||

práṇītibhiṣ ṭe haryaśva suṣṭóḥ suṣumnásya pururúco jánāsaḥ máṁhiṣṭhām ūtíṁ vitíre dádhānā stotā́ra indra táva sūnŕ̥tābhiḥ

O Harishva (with bay horses), O Indra, the people, seeking your best protection, praise you with their songs and understanding. May you be pleased with these, and with your divine favor, may we prosper.

Stanza 10.104.6

उप॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि हरिवो॒ हरि॑भ्यां॒ सोम॑स्य याहि पी॒तये॑ सु॒तस्य॑ | इन्द्र॑ त्वा य॒ज्ञः क्षम॑माणमानड्दा॒श्वाँ अ॑स्यध्व॒रस्य॑ प्रके॒तः ||

úpa bráhmāṇi harivo háribhyāṁ sómasya yāhi pītáye sutásya índra tvā yajñáḥ kṣámamāṇam ānaḍ dāśvā́m̐ asy adhvarásya praketáḥ

O Harivah (possessor of bay horses), come with your two horses to our prayers and to drink the pressed Soma. O Indra, the sacrifice that accepts you has reached you; you are the knower of this ritual.

Stanza 10.104.7

स॒हस्र॑वाजमभिमाति॒षाहं॑ सु॒तेर॑णं म॒घवा॑नं सुवृ॒क्तिम् | उप॑ भूषन्ति॒ गिरो॒ अप्र॑तीत॒मिन्द्रं॑ नम॒स्या ज॑रि॒तुः प॑नन्त ||

sahásravājam abhimātiṣā́haṁ sutéraṇam maghávānaṁ suvr̥ktím úpa bhūṣanti gíro ápratītam índraṁ namasyā́ jaritúḥ pananta

The songs approach Indra, who has a thousand powers, who conquers enemies, who is generous and skilled in hymns. He is irresistible, and the praises of the singer laud him as he wins battles and riches.

Stanza 10.104.8

स॒प्तापो॑ दे॒वीः सु॒रणा॒ अमृ॑क्ता॒ याभिः॒ सिन्धु॒मत॑र इन्द्र पू॒र्भित् | न॒व॒तिं स्रो॒त्या नव॑ च॒ स्रव॑न्तीर्दे॒वेभ्यो॑ गा॒तुं मनु॑षे च विन्दः ||

saptā́po devī́ḥ suráṇā ámr̥ktā yā́bhiḥ síndhum átara indra pūrbhít navatíṁ srotyā́ náva ca srávantīr devébhyo gātúm mánuṣe ca vindaḥ

You found the way for gods and men, O Indra, through the seven divine, unimpeded waters, with which you moved the ocean, and the ninety-nine flowing streams.

Stanza 10.104.9

अ॒पो म॒हीर॒भिश॑स्तेरमु॒ञ्चोऽजा॑गरा॒स्वधि॑ दे॒व एकः॑ | इन्द्र॒ यास्त्वं वृ॑त्र॒तूर्ये॑ च॒कर्थ॒ ताभि॑र्वि॒श्वायु॑स्त॒न्वं॑ पुपुष्याः ||

apó mahī́r abhíśaster amuñcó 'jāgar āsv ádhi devá ékaḥ índra yā́s tváṁ vr̥tratū́rye cakártha tā́bhir viśvā́yus tanvàm pupuṣyāḥ

You freed the great waters from the curse, O Indra, and watched over them as the only god. You who are the sole watcher, protect your own body with the powers you gained in conquering Vr̥itra.

Stanza 10.104.10

वी॒रेण्यः॒ क्रतु॒रिन्द्रः॑ सुश॒स्तिरु॒तापि॒ धेना॑ पुरुहू॒तमी॑ट्टे | आर्द॑यद्वृ॒त्रमकृ॑णोदु लो॒कं स॑सा॒हे श॒क्रः पृत॑ना अभि॒ष्टिः ||

vīréṇyaḥ krátur índraḥ suśastír utā́pi dhénā puruhūtám īṭṭe ā́rdayad vr̥trám ákr̥ṇod ulokáṁ sasāhé śakráḥ pŕ̥tanā abhiṣṭíḥ

Indra is heroic power, worthy of praise, and the song praises him, invoked by many. He shattered Vr̥itra, made space, and the mighty one conquered armies.

Stanza 10.104.11

शु॒नं हु॑वेम म॒घवा॑न॒मिन्द्र॑म॒स्मिन्भरे॒ नृत॑मं॒ वाज॑सातौ | शृ॒ण्वन्त॑मु॒ग्रमू॒तये॑ स॒मत्सु॒ घ्नन्तं॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ सं॒जितं॒ धना॑नाम् ||

śunáṁ huvema maghávānam índram asmín bháre nŕ̥tamaṁ vā́jasātau śr̥ṇvántam ugrám ūtáye samátsu ghnántaṁ vr̥trā́ṇi saṁjítaṁ dhánānām

Let us invoke the bountiful Indra, the best hero in this contest for wealth. Let us call upon the strong one who listens, who aids in battles, who slays enemies and wins riches.
