    Stanza 1.82.1

    उपो॒ षु शृ॑णु॒ही गिरो॒ मघ॑व॒न्मात॑था इव | य॒दा नः॑ सू॒नृता॑वतः॒ कर॒ आद॒र्थया॑स॒ इद्योजा॒ न्वि॑न्द्र ते॒ हरी॑ ||

    úpo ṣú śr̥ṇuhī́ gíro mághavan mā́tathā iva yadā́ naḥ sūnŕ̥tāvataḥ kára ā́d artháyāsa íd yójā nv .ìndra te hárī

    Hey Indra, please listen closely to our words! Don't be distracted. You've brought us joy before, and we're calling out to you. Now, get your two swift horses ready!

    Stanza 1.82.2

    अक्ष॒न्नमी॑मदन्त॒ ह्यव॑ प्रि॒या अ॑धूषत | अस्तो॑षत॒ स्वभा॑नवो॒ विप्रा॒ नवि॑ष्ठया म॒ती योजा॒ न्वि॑न्द्र ते॒ हरी॑ ||

    ákṣann ámīmadanta hy áva priyā́ adhūṣata ástoṣata svábhānavo víprā náviṣṭhayā matī́ yójā nv .ìndra te hárī

    They truly ate and celebrated! Friends have come and gone. The brilliant wise ones have praised you with their latest thoughts. Now, Indra, get your two bay horses ready!

    Stanza 1.82.3

    सु॒सं॒दृशं॑ त्वा व॒यं मघ॑वन्वन्दिषी॒महि॑ | प्र नू॒नं पू॒र्णव॑न्धुरः स्तु॒तो या॑हि॒ वशाँ॒ अनु॒ योजा॒ न्वि॑न्द्र ते॒ हरी॑ ||

    susaṁdŕ̥śaṁ tvā vayám mághavan vandiṣīmáhi prá nūnám pūrṇávandhura stutó yāhi váśām̐ ánu yójā nv .ìndra te hárī

    O Maghavan, we want to honor you, who are so wonderful to see! Now that you've been praised, come quickly with your fully loaded chariot. Now, Indra, get your two bay horses ready!

    Stanza 1.82.4

    स घा॒ तं वृष॑णं॒ रथ॒मधि॑ तिष्ठाति गो॒विद॑म् | यः पात्रं॑ हारियोज॒नं पू॒र्णमि॑न्द्र॒ चिके॑तति॒ योजा॒ न्वि॑न्द्र ते॒ हरी॑ ||

    sá ghā táṁ vŕ̥ṣaṇaṁ rátham ádhi tiṣṭhāti govídam yáḥ pā́traṁ hāriyojanám pūrṇám indra cíketati yójā nv .ìndra te hárī

    Indeed, he will mount that powerful chariot that finds the cows! Whoever truly understands the full vessel, the harness for the bay horses, Indra, now get your two bay horses ready!

    Stanza 1.82.5

    यु॒क्तस्ते॑ अस्तु॒ दक्षि॑ण उ॒त स॒व्यः श॑तक्रतो | तेन॑ जा॒यामुप॑ प्रि॒यां म॑न्दा॒नो या॒ह्यन्ध॑सो॒ योजा॒ न्वि॑न्द्र ते॒ हरी॑ ||

    yuktás te astu dákṣiṇa utá savyáḥ śatakrato téna jāyā́m úpa priyā́m mandānó yāhy ándhaso yójā nv .ìndra te hárī

    Lord of a hundred powers, may your right and left horses be yoked! With joy, come near to your beloved spouse with the sacred drink. Now, Indra, get your two bay horses ready!

    Stanza 1.82.6

    यु॒नज्मि॑ ते॒ ब्रह्म॑णा के॒शिना॒ हरी॒ उप॒ प्र या॑हि दधि॒षे गभ॑स्त्योः | उत्त्वा॑ सु॒तासो॑ रभ॒सा अ॑मन्दिषुः पूष॒ण्वान्व॑ज्रि॒न्त्समु॒ पत्न्या॑मदः ||

    yunájmi te bráhmaṇā keśínā hárī úpa prá yāhi dadhiṣé gábhastyoḥ út tvā sutā́so rabhasā́ amandiṣuḥ pūṣaṇvā́n vajrin sám u pátnyāmadaḥ

    With prayer, I harness your long-maned bay horses. Come forth! You hold them in your hands. The potent juices have made you happy; you, wielder of the thunderbolt, have rejoiced with Pushan and your Spouse.
