    Stanza 1.134.1

    आ त्वा॒ जुवो॑ रारहा॒णा अ॒भि प्रयो॒ वायो॒ वह॑न्त्वि॒ह पू॒र्वपी॑तये॒ सोम॑स्य पू॒र्वपी॑तये | ऊ॒र्ध्वा ते॒ अनु॑ सू॒नृता॒ मन॑स्तिष्ठतु जान॒ती || नि॒युत्व॑ता॒ रथे॒ना या॑हि दा॒वने॒ वायो॑ म॒खस्य॑ दा॒वने॑ |

    ā́ tvā júvo rārahāṇā́ abhí práyo vā́yo váhantv ihá pūrvápītaye sómasya pūrvápītaye ūrdhvā́ te ánu sūnŕ̥tā mánas tiṣṭhatu jānatī́ niyútvatā ráthenā́ yāhi dāváne vā́yo makhásya dāváne

    Oh Vayu, may fast-moving steeds bring you here swiftly to our feast, to drink the Soma juice first! May our joyful, knowing praise, lifted high, please your mind. Come with your harnessed chariot to share in the offering, Vayu, to share in the sacrifice!

    Stanza 1.134.2

    मन्द॑न्तु त्वा म॒न्दिनो॑ वाय॒विन्द॑वो॒ऽस्मत्क्रा॒णासः॒ सुकृ॑ता अ॒भिद्य॑वो॒ गोभिः॑ क्रा॒णा अ॒भिद्य॑वः | यद्ध॑ क्रा॒णा इ॒रध्यै॒ दक्षं॒ सच॑न्त ऊ॒तयः॑ || स॒ध्री॒ची॒ना नि॒युतो॑ दा॒वने॒ धिय॒ उप॑ ब्रुवत ईं॒ धियः॑ |

    mándantu tvā mandíno vāyav índavo 'smát krāṇā́saḥ súkr̥tā abhídyavo góbhiḥ krāṇā́ abhídyavaḥ yád dha krāṇā́ irádhyai dákṣaṁ sácanta ūtáyaḥ sadhrīcīnā́ niyúto dāváne dhíya úpa bruvata īṁ dhíyaḥ

    May the delightful Soma drops delight you, O Vayu! May these drops, made by us, well-prepared and heaven-directed, please you. Those who have offered them with milk, and directed them to the heavens, may their efforts bring strength. They call upon the assembled steeds to grant gifts, yes, they call for the gifts!

    Stanza 1.134.3

    वा॒युर्यु॑ङ्क्ते॒ रोहि॑ता वा॒युर॑रु॒णा वा॒यू रथे॑ अजि॒रा धु॒रि वोळ्ह॑वे॒ वहि॑ष्ठा धु॒रि वोळ्ह॑वे | प्र बो॑धया॒ पुरं॑धिं जा॒र आ स॑स॒तीमि॑व || प्र च॑क्षय॒ रोद॑सी वासयो॒षसः॒ श्रव॑से वासयो॒षसः॑ |

    vāyúr yuṅkte róhitā vāyúr aruṇā́ vāyū́ ráthe ajirā́ dhurí vóḷhave váhiṣṭhā dhurí vóḷhave prá bodhayā púraṁdhiṁ jārá ā́ sasatī́m iva prá cakṣaya ródasī vāsayoṣásaḥ śrávase vāsayoṣásaḥ

    Vayu harnesses the ruddy horses, Vayu harnesses the red horses, Vayu harnesses the swift horses to the chariot, ready to pull the load, the strongest to pull the load! Awaken understanding, like a lover waking a sleeping beloved! Make the heavens and earth shine, make the dawns appear for glory, make the dawns appear!

    Stanza 1.134.4

    तुभ्य॑मु॒षासः॒ शुच॑यः परा॒वति॑ भ॒द्रा वस्त्रा॑ तन्वते॒ दंसु॑ र॒श्मिषु॑ चि॒त्रा नव्ये॑षु र॒श्मिषु॑ | तुभ्यं॑ धे॒नुः स॑ब॒र्दुघा॒ विश्वा॒ वसू॑नि दोहते || अज॑नयो म॒रुतो॑ व॒क्षणा॑भ्यो दि॒व आ व॒क्षणा॑भ्यः |

    túbhyam uṣā́saḥ śúcayaḥ parāváti bhadrā́ vástrā tanvate dáṁsu raśmíṣu citrā́ návyeṣu raśmíṣu túbhyaṁ dhenúḥ sabardúghā víśvā vásūni dohate ájanayo marúto vakṣáṇābhyo divá ā́ vakṣáṇābhyaḥ

    For you, O Vayu, the pure dawns in the distance spread out beautiful garments in their rays, wonderful in their new rays. For you, the cow that yields plentifully pours out all treasures. You brought forth the Maruts from the flanks, yes, from the flanks of heaven!

    Stanza 1.134.5

    तुभ्यं॑ शु॒क्रासः॒ शुच॑यस्तुर॒ण्यवो॒ मदे॑षू॒ग्रा इ॑षणन्त भु॒र्वण्य॒पामि॑षन्त भु॒र्वणि॑ | त्वां त्सा॒री दस॑मानो॒ भग॑मीट्टे तक्व॒वीये॑ || त्वं विश्व॑स्मा॒द्भुव॑नात्पासि॒ धर्म॑णासु॒र्या॑त्पासि॒ धर्म॑णा |

    túbhyaṁ śukrā́saḥ śúcayas turaṇyávo mádeṣūgrā́ iṣaṇanta bhurváṇy apā́m iṣanta bhurváṇi tvā́ṁ tsārī́ dásamāno bhágam īṭṭe takvavī́ye tváṁ víśvasmād bhúvanāt pāsi dhármaṇāsuryāā̀t pāsi dhármaṇā

    For you, O Vayu, the bright, rushing Soma drops, strong in their ecstatic power, rush into the swirl, they rush into the swirl of the waters! The one seeking fortune prays to you in the chase; you protect from every world by your law, yes, you protect from the powerful divine realm by your law!

    Stanza 1.134.6

    त्वं नो॑ वायवेषा॒मपू॑र्व्यः॒ सोमा॑नां प्रथ॒मः पी॒तिम॑र्हसि सु॒तानां॑ पी॒तिम॑र्हसि | उ॒तो वि॒हुत्म॑तीनां वि॒शां व॑व॒र्जुषी॑णाम् || विश्वा॒ इत्ते॑ धे॒नवो॑ दुह्र आ॒शिरं॑ घृ॒तं दु॑ह्रत आ॒शिर॑म् |

    tváṁ no vāyav eṣām ápūrvyaḥ sómānām prathamáḥ pītím arhasi sutā́nām pītím arhasi utó vihútmatīnāṁ viśā́ṁ vavarjúṣīṇām víśvā ít te dhenávo duhra āśíraṁ ghr̥táṁ duhrata āśíram

    You, O Vayu, are unique and the first among all, worthy to drink these Soma offerings! You are worthy to drink these poured-out Soma drinks. Among the people, too, who are devoted and have turned to you, all cows pour out milk and clarified butter for you!
