With deep thought and wisdom, I'm bringing forth these vibrant praises for Bhāvya, who lives by the Sindhu river. He's my patron, an unconquered king, and because he's given me a thousand sacrifices, I'm eager to sing his praises and gain glory.

From the king, who I've been asking favors from, I received a hundred necklaces and a hundred well-prepared horses, all at once! I also got a thousand cows belonging to this powerful lord. I, Kakshivan, have spread this immense, unfading glory of his to the heavens.

Ten chariots, with their mares ready, gifted by Svanaya, were brought to me, along with sturdy horses. Sixty thousand cows, a huge herd, followed after. I, Kakshivan, acquired all this wealth by the end of the day!

Forty magnificent, reddish horses, belonging to the master of ten chariots, are leading a thousand others in procession. These speedy horses, decorated with jeweled bridles, have been brought to a stop by the sons of Kakshivan and Pajra.
