Stanza 9.80.1

सोम॑स्य॒ धारा॑ पवते नृ॒चक्ष॑स ऋ॒तेन॑ दे॒वान्ह॑वते दि॒वस्परि॑ | बृह॒स्पते॑ र॒वथे॑ना॒ वि दि॑द्युते समु॒द्रासो॒ न सव॑नानि विव्यचुः ||

sómasya dhā́rā pavate nr̥cákṣasa r̥téna devā́n havate divás pári bŕ̥haspáte raváthenā ví didyute samudrā́so ná sávanāni vivyacuḥ

The stream of Soma, which sees all beings, flows. By the cosmic order (Rta), it invites the gods from the sky. With the roaring sound of Brhaspati, it shines forth. The immense quantities of the pressed juice overflowed, like oceans.

Stanza 9.80.2

यं त्वा॑ वाजिन्न॒घ्न्या अ॒भ्यनू॑ष॒तायो॑हतं॒ योनि॒मा रो॑हसि द्यु॒मान् | म॒घोना॒मायुः॑ प्रति॒रन्महि॒ श्रव॒ इन्द्रा॑य सोम पवसे॒ वृषा॒ मदः॑ ||

yáṁ tvā vājinn aghnyā́ abhy ánūṣatā́yohataṁ yónim ā́ rohasi dyumā́n maghónām ā́yuḥ pratirán máhi śráva índrāya soma pavase vŕ̥ṣā mádaḥ

O Soma, possessor of strength, to whom the unfading ones have sung, you ascend to your home, shining brightly. You extend the life and glory of the powerful. O Soma, you flow as a strong invigorating essence for Indra.

Stanza 9.80.3

एन्द्र॑स्य कु॒क्षा प॑वते म॒दिन्त॑म॒ ऊर्जं॒ वसा॑नः॒ श्रव॑से सुम॒ङ्गलः॑ | प्र॒त्यङ्स विश्वा॒ भुव॑ना॒भि प॑प्रथे॒ क्रीळ॒न्हरि॒रत्यः॑ स्यन्दते॒ वृषा॑ ||

éndrasya kukṣā́ pavate madíntama ū́rjaṁ vásānaḥ śrávase sumaṅgálaḥ pratyáṅ sá víśvā bhúvanābhí paprathe krī́ḷan hárir átyaḥ syandate vŕ̥ṣā

He flows into the core of Indra, most delightful, clad in strength and auspiciousness for glory. He spreads out to meet all worlds, like a playful, vigorous, and swift horse.

Stanza 9.80.4

तं त्वा॑ दे॒वेभ्यो॒ मधु॑मत्तमं॒ नरः॑ स॒हस्र॑धारं दुहते॒ दश॒ क्षिपः॑ | नृभिः॑ सोम॒ प्रच्यु॑तो॒ ग्राव॑भिः सु॒तो विश्वा॑न्दे॒वाँ आ प॑वस्वा सहस्रजित् ||

táṁ tvā devébhyo mádhumattamaṁ náraḥ sahásradhāraṁ duhate dáśa kṣípaḥ nŕ̥bhiḥ soma prácyuto grā́vabhiḥ sutó víśvān devā́m̐ ā́ pavasvā sahasrajit

O Soma, you who are the most delightful to the gods, pressed by men and stones yielding thousands of streams, flow for us, O thousand-winner, invigorating all the gods.

Stanza 9.80.5

तं त्वा॑ ह॒स्तिनो॒ मधु॑मन्त॒मद्रि॑भिर्दु॒हन्त्य॒प्सु वृ॑ष॒भं दश॒ क्षिपः॑ | इन्द्रं॑ सोम मा॒दय॒न्दैव्यं॒ जनं॒ सिन्धो॑रिवो॒र्मिः पव॑मानो अर्षसि ||

táṁ tvā hastíno mádhumantam ádribhir duhánty apsú vr̥ṣabháṁ dáśa kṣípaḥ índraṁ soma mādáyan daívyaṁ jánaṁ síndhor ivormíḥ pávamāno arṣasi

O Soma, you are intoxicating Indra and the divine host, flowing like a wave from the ocean. You are extracted with stones by the ten swift fingers into the waters, a bull rich in sweetness.
