उ॒प॒मं त्वा॑ म॒घोनां॒ ज्येष्ठं॑ च वृष॒भाणा॑म् | पू॒र्भित्त॑मं मघवन्निन्द्र गो॒विद॒मीशा॑नं रा॒य ई॑महे ||
upamáṁ tvā maghónāṁ jyéṣṭhaṁ ca vr̥ṣabhā́ṇām pūrbhíttamam maghavann indra govídam ī́śānaṁ rāyá īmahe
O Indra, most magnificent among the affluent, foremost among the mighty, best destroyer of fortresses, giver of cows, master of wealth, we seek you.
The devotee addresses Indra, the mighty god, recognizing him as the most glorious among the wealthy, the most powerful of leaders, and the best destroyer of forts. They acknowledge him as the giver of cows and the master of riches, and express their desire to seek his favor and blessings.

yá āyúṁ kútsam atithigvám árdayo vāvr̥dhānó divé-dive táṁ tvā vayáṁ háryaśvaṁ śatákratuṁ vājayánto havāmahe
You subdued Ayus, Kutsa, Atithigva, who grew stronger day by day. We invoke you, O Indra, with swift horses and great powers.

ā́ no víśveṣāṁ rásam mádhvaḥ siñcantv ádrayaḥ yé parāváti sunviré jáneṣv ā́ yé arvāvátī́ndavaḥ
May the pressing stones pour the sweet essence of the Soma for us, those that pressed it in distant lands and those that pressed it nearby.
The hymn requests the pressing stones, used for extracting Soma juice, to pour the essence of the sacred drink for them. These stones are described as having extracted the Soma in both distant and near places, signifying the widespread presence and efficacy of this divine offering.

Destroy all hatred and cast it away; make all beings prosperous. Even among those who offer, the Soma juices that delight you are abundant, where you are satisfied with Soma.

O Indra, come very near to us with firm aids and helps. Come with the best and most auspicious assistances, O kinsman, with kinsmen.
The devotee earnestly calls upon Indra to come very close, bringing with him his well-established aids and protective measures. They ask him to come with the most beneficial and auspicious help, addressing him as a dear kinsman who brings good fortune.

Make us blessed with offspring, O victor in the contest, chief of men, leader of all. Aid with your powers those who hymn you, those who constantly purify.
The worshipper asks Indra to make them blessed with progeny and establish them as leaders among people, victorious in struggles. They also request Indra's powerful assistance for those who sing his praises and constantly strive to purify themselves and their offerings.
