    Stanza 8.36.1

    अ॒वि॒तासि॑ सुन्व॒तो वृ॒क्तब॑र्हिषः॒ पिबा॒ सोमं॒ मदा॑य॒ कं श॑तक्रतो | यं ते॑ भा॒गमधा॑रय॒न्विश्वाः॑ सेहा॒नः पृत॑ना उ॒रु ज्रयः॒ सम॑प्सु॒जिन्म॒रुत्वाँ॑ इन्द्र सत्पते ||

    avitā́si sunvató vr̥ktábarhiṣaḥ píbā sómam mádāya káṁ śatakrato yáṁ te bhāgám ádhārayan víśvāḥ sehānáḥ pŕ̥tanā urú jráyaḥ sám apsujín marútvām̐ indra satpate

    You are the protector of the one who presses Soma and arranges the sacrificial grass. Drink the Soma for your exhilaration, O Hundred-Powered One! You, Indra, Lord of Heroes, accompanied by the Maruts, who have established your portion, conquer all battles and gain great victories.

    Stanza 8.36.2

    प्राव॑ स्तो॒तारं॑ मघव॒न्नव॒ त्वां पिबा॒ सोमं॒ मदा॑य॒ कं श॑तक्रतो | यं ते॑ भा॒गमधा॑रय॒न्विश्वाः॑ सेहा॒नः पृत॑ना उ॒रु ज्रयः॒ सम॑प्सु॒जिन्म॒रुत्वाँ॑ इन्द्र सत्पते ||

    prā́va stotā́ram maghavann áva tvā́m píbā sómam mádāya káṁ śatakrato yáṁ te bhāgám ádhārayan víśvāḥ sehānáḥ pŕ̥tanā urú jráyaḥ sám apsujín marútvām̐ indra satpate

    Protect the singer, O Maghavan, and may we protect you! Drink the Soma for your exhilaration, O Hundred-Powered One! You, Indra, Lord of Heroes, accompanied by the Maruts, who have established your portion, conquer all battles and gain great victories.

    Stanza 8.36.3

    ऊ॒र्जा दे॒वाँ अव॒स्योज॑सा॒ त्वां पिबा॒ सोमं॒ मदा॑य॒ कं श॑तक्रतो | यं ते॑ भा॒गमधा॑रय॒न्विश्वाः॑ सेहा॒नः पृत॑ना उ॒रु ज्रयः॒ सम॑प्सु॒जिन्म॒रुत्वाँ॑ इन्द्र सत्पते ||

    ūrjā́ devā́m̐ ávasy ójasā tvā́m píbā sómam mádāya káṁ śatakrato yáṁ te bhāgám ádhārayan víśvāḥ sehānáḥ pŕ̥tanā urú jráyaḥ sám apsujín marútvām̐ indra satpate

    With energy you nourish the gods, and with strength, you aid yourself. Drink the Soma for your exhilaration, O Hundred-Powered One! You, Indra, Lord of Heroes, accompanied by the Maruts, who have established your portion, conquer all battles and gain great victories.

    janitā́ divó janitā́ pr̥thivyā́ḥ píbā sómam mádāya káṁ śatakrato yáṁ te bhāgám ádhārayan víśvāḥ sehānáḥ pŕ̥tanā urú jráyaḥ sám apsujín marútvām̐ indra satpate

    You are the creator of the sky, the creator of the earth. Drink the Soma for your exhilaration, O Hundred-Powered One! You, Indra, Lord of Heroes, accompanied by the Maruts, who have established your portion, conquer all battles and gain great victories.

    ज॒नि॒ताश्वा॑नां जनि॒ता गवा॑मसि॒ पिबा॒ सोमं॒ मदा॑य॒ कं श॑तक्रतो | यं ते॑ भा॒गमधा॑रय॒न्विश्वाः॑ सेहा॒नः पृत॑ना उ॒रु ज्रयः॒ सम॑प्सु॒जिन्म॒रुत्वाँ॑ इन्द्र सत्पते ||

    janitā́śvānāṁ janitā́ gávām asi píbā sómam mádāya káṁ śatakrato yáṁ te bhāgám ádhārayan víśvāḥ sehānáḥ pŕ̥tanā urú jráyaḥ sám apsujín marútvām̐ indra satpate

    You are the father of horses, the father of cattle. Drink the Soma for your exhilaration, O Hundred-Powered One! You, Indra, Lord of Heroes, accompanied by the Maruts, who have established your portion, conquer all battles and gain great victories.

    Stanza 8.36.6

    अत्री॑णां॒ स्तोम॑मद्रिवो म॒हस्कृ॑धि॒ पिबा॒ सोमं॒ मदा॑य॒ कं श॑तक्रतो | यं ते॑ भा॒गमधा॑रय॒न्विश्वाः॑ सेहा॒नः पृत॑ना उ॒रु ज्रयः॒ सम॑प्सु॒जिन्म॒रुत्वाँ॑ इन्द्र सत्पते ||

    átrīṇāṁ stómam adrivo mahás kr̥dhi píbā sómam mádāya káṁ śatakrato yáṁ te bhāgám ádhārayan víśvāḥ sehānáḥ pŕ̥tanā urú jráyaḥ sám apsujín marútvām̐ indra satpate

    O stone-hurler, make our hymn, the hymn of the Atris, great. Drink the Soma for your exhilaration, O Hundred-Powered One! You, Indra, Lord of Heroes, accompanied by the Maruts, who have established your portion, conquer all battles and gain great victories.

    Stanza 8.36.7

    श्या॒वाश्व॑स्य सुन्व॒तस्तथा॑ शृणु॒ यथाशृ॑णो॒रत्रेः॒ कर्मा॑णि कृण्व॒तः | प्र त्र॒सद॑स्युमाविथ॒ त्वमेक॒ इन्नृ॒षाह्य॒ इन्द्र॒ ब्रह्मा॑णि व॒र्धय॑न् ||

    śyāvā́śvasya sunvatás táthā śr̥ṇu yáthā́śr̥ṇor átreḥ kármāṇi kr̥ṇvatáḥ prá trasádasyum āvitha tvám éka ín nr̥ṣā́hya índra bráhmāṇi vardháyan

    Hear Syāvāśva, who presses the Soma, just as you heard Atri when he performed his duties. You alone, Indra, aided Trasadasyu in difficult battles, O powerful one, strengthening the prayers.
