    Stanza 7.95.1

    प्र क्षोद॑सा॒ धाय॑सा सस्र ए॒षा सर॑स्वती ध॒रुण॒माय॑सी॒ पूः | प्र॒बाब॑धाना र॒थ्ये॑व याति॒ विश्वा॑ अ॒पो म॑हि॒ना सिन्धु॑र॒न्याः ||

    prá kṣódasā dhā́yasā sasra eṣā́ sárasvatī dharúṇam ā́yasī pū́ḥ prabā́badhānā rathyèva yāti víśvā apó mahinā́ síndhur anyā́ḥ

    This Sarasvatî, with her nourishing flow, comes forth as our protective, iron-like fortress. Propelled like a chariot, she moves onward, her might surpassing all other waters.

    Stanza 7.95.2

    एका॑चेत॒त्सर॑स्वती न॒दीनां॒ शुचि॑र्य॒ती गि॒रिभ्य॒ आ स॑मु॒द्रात् | रा॒यश्चेत॑न्ती॒ भुव॑नस्य॒ भूरे॑र्घृ॒तं पयो॑ दुदुहे॒ नाहु॑षाय ||

    ékācetat sárasvatī nadī́nāṁ śúcir yatī́ giríbhya ā́ samudrā́t rāyáś cétantī bhúvanasya bhū́rer ghr̥tám páyo duduhe nā́huṣāya

    This one Sarasvatî, pure and flowing, listened from the mountains to the ocean. Aware of the world's abundant wealth, she yielded ghee and milk for Nahusha's people.

    Stanza 7.95.3

    स वा॑वृधे॒ नर्यो॒ योष॑णासु॒ वृषा॒ शिशु॑र्वृष॒भो य॒ज्ञिया॑सु | स वा॒जिनं॑ म॒घव॑द्भ्यो दधाति॒ वि सा॒तये॑ त॒न्वं॑ मामृजीत ||

    sá vāvr̥dhe náryo yóṣaṇāsu vŕ̥ṣā śíśur vr̥ṣabhó yajñíyāsu sá vājínam maghávadbhyo dadhāti ví sātáye tanvàm māmr̥jīta

    She grew, a hero among women, a strong young bull among the sacred. She gives the swift steed to the wealthy and adorns them for victory.

    Stanza 7.95.4

    उ॒त स्या नः॒ सर॑स्वती जुषा॒णोप॑ श्रवत्सु॒भगा॑ य॒ज्णे अ॒स्मिन् | मि॒तज्ञु॑भिर्नम॒स्यै॑रिया॒ना रा॒या यु॒जा चि॒दुत्त॑रा॒ सखि॑भ्यः ||

    utá syā́ naḥ sárasvatī juṣāṇópa śravat subhágā yajṇé asmín mitájñubhir namasya .ìr iyānā́ rāyā́ yujā́ cid úttarā sákhibhyaḥ

    May this Sarasvati, auspicious and wealthy, be pleased with us and listen at this sacrifice. May we, with reverence and devotion, draw near to her, seeking shelter in her favor, which is greater than any companion's.

    Stanza 7.95.5

    इ॒मा जुह्वा॑ना यु॒ष्मदा नमो॑भिः॒ प्रति॒ स्तोमं॑ सरस्वति जुषस्व | तव॒ शर्म॑न्प्रि॒यत॑मे॒ दधा॑ना॒ उप॑ स्थेयाम शर॒णं न वृ॒क्षम् ||

    imā́ júhvānā yuṣmád ā́ námobhiḥ práti stómaṁ sarasvati juṣasva táva śárman priyátame dádhānā úpa stheyāma śaraṇáṁ ná vr̥kṣám

    Having made these offerings with adoration, O Sarasvati, be pleased with our praise. Dwell in your most beloved protection, may we approach you for refuge, like a tree.

    Stanza 7.95.6

    अ॒यमु॑ ते सरस्वति॒ वसि॑ष्ठो॒ द्वारा॑वृ॒तस्य॑ सुभगे॒ व्या॑वः | वर्ध॑ शुभ्रे स्तुव॒ते रा॑सि॒ वाजा॑न्यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः ||

    ayám u te sarasvati vásiṣṭho dvā́rāv r̥tásya subhage vy āā̀vaḥ várdha śubhre stuvaté rāsi vā́jān yūyám pāta svastíbhiḥ sádā naḥ

    For you, O Sarasvati, Vasishtha has opened the doors of order. Grow, bright one, and grant gifts to the praiser. You, O Gods, protect us always with blessings.
