Stanza 7.80.1
प्रति॒ स्तोमे॑भिरु॒षसं॒ वसि॑ष्ठा गी॒र्भिर्विप्रा॑सः प्रथ॒मा अ॑बुध्रन् | वि॒व॒र्तय॑न्तीं॒ रज॑सी॒ सम॑न्ते आविष्कृण्व॒तीं भुव॑नानि॒ विश्वा॑ ||
práti stómebhir uṣásaṁ vásiṣṭhā gīrbhír víprāsaḥ prathamā́ abudhran vivartáyantīṁ rájasī sámante āviṣkr̥ṇvatī́m bhúvanāni víśvā
With praises, the Vasistha sages, the first among the wise, awakened Ushas. She, separating the surrounding atmospheric regions, revealed all the worlds.
This stanza describes the dawn (Ushas) being awakened by the Vasistha sages with their hymns and praises. As the dawn arrives, she separates the surrounding regions of the sky and reveals all the beings and worlds within them.

ए॒षा स्या नव्य॒मायु॒र्दधा॑ना गू॒ढ्वी तमो॒ ज्योति॑षो॒षा अ॑बोधि | अग्र॑ एति युव॒तिरह्र॑याणा॒ प्राचि॑कित॒त्सूर्यं॑ य॒ज्ञम॒ग्निम् ||
eṣā́ syā́ návyam ā́yur dádhānā gūḍhvī́ támo jyótiṣoṣā́ abodhi ágra eti yuvatír áhrayāṇā prā́cikitat sū́ryaṁ yajñám agním
This dawn, holding new life, awakened from darkness with light. Advancing, the youthful and unhindered one has turned our attention to the sun, the sacrifice, and the fire.
This stanza continues the description of the dawn, calling her 'this one.' She is depicted as having hidden the darkness and now, filled with new light, she awakens. She is described as young, unrestrained, and advancing forward, bringing consciousness of the sun, sacrifice, and fire.

áśvāvatīr gómatīr na uṣā́so vīrávatīḥ sádam uchantu bhadrā́ḥ ghr̥táṁ dúhānā viśvátaḥ prápītā yūyám pāta svastíbhiḥ sádā naḥ
May the auspicious dawns, rich with horses, cows, and heroes, always rise for us. Pouring forth abundance like ghee, may you (gods) always protect us with well-being.
This stanza is a prayer to the dawn, asking her to bestow auspiciousness. The sages wish for the dawn to always shine upon them, bringing wealth in the form of horses, cows, and heroic sons. They ask that she pour forth abundance like ghee and that the gods protect them always with blessings.
