Stanza 7.75.1

व्यु१॒॑षा आ॑वो दिवि॒जा ऋ॒तेना॑विष्कृण्वा॒ना म॑हि॒मान॒मागा॑त् | अप॒ द्रुह॒स्तम॑ आव॒रजु॑ष्ट॒मङ्गि॑रस्तमा प॒थ्या॑ अजीगः ||

vy ùṣā́ āvo divijā́ r̥ténāviṣkr̥ṇvānā́ mahimā́nam ā́gāt ápa drúhas táma āvar ájuṣṭam áṅgirastamā pathyāā̀ ajīgaḥ

The Dawn, born in the sky, has come forth, revealing her majesty according to Rta (cosmic order). She has driven away the darkness that was hateful and unwelcome, and like the foremost of the Angirases, she has opened the paths.

Stanza 7.75.2

म॒हे नो॑ अ॒द्य सु॑वि॒ताय॑ बो॒ध्युषो॑ म॒हे सौभ॑गाय॒ प्र य॑न्धि | चि॒त्रं र॒यिं य॒शसं॑ धेह्य॒स्मे देवि॒ मर्ते॑षु मानुषि श्रव॒स्युम् ||

mahé no adyá suvitā́ya bodhy úṣo mahé saúbhagāya prá yandhi citráṁ rayíṁ yaśásaṁ dhehy asmé dévi márteṣu mānuṣi śravasyúm

Awaken us today, O Dawn, to great well-being! Advance us greatly in good fortune. O Goddess, O human-like one, grant us manifold, glorious wealth, renowned among mortals and much desired.

Stanza 7.75.3

ए॒ते त्ये भा॒नवो॑ दर्श॒ताया॑श्चि॒त्रा उ॒षसो॑ अ॒मृता॑स॒ आगुः॑ | ज॒नय॑न्तो॒ दैव्या॑नि व्र॒तान्या॑पृ॒णन्तो॑ अ॒न्तरि॑क्षा॒ व्य॑स्थुः ||

eté tyé bhānávo darśatā́yāś citrā́ uṣáso amŕ̥tāsa ā́guḥ janáyanto daívyāni vratā́ny āpr̥ṇánto antárikṣā vy àsthuḥ

These bright, immortal splendors of the Dawn, wondrous and varied, have come. Generating divine duties, filling the atmosphere, they have settled.

Stanza 7.75.4

ए॒षा स्या यु॑जा॒ना प॑रा॒कात्पञ्च॑ क्षि॒तीः परि॑ स॒द्यो जि॑गाति | अ॒भि॒पश्य॑न्ती व॒युना॒ जना॑नां दि॒वो दु॑हि॒ता भुव॑नस्य॒ पत्नी॑ ||

eṣā́ syā́ yujānā́ parākā́t páñca kṣitī́ḥ pári sadyó jigāti abhipáśyantī vayúnā jánānāṁ divó duhitā́ bhúvanasya pátnī

She, the daughter of the sky and mistress of the world, yokes herself from afar and immediately goes around the five settled peoples. Observing the ways of men, she moves.

Stanza 7.75.5

वा॒जिनी॑वती॒ सूर्य॑स्य॒ योषा॑ चि॒त्राम॑घा रा॒य ई॑शे॒ वसू॑नाम् | ऋषि॑ष्टुता ज॒रय॑न्ती म॒घोन्यु॒षा उ॑च्छति॒ वह्नि॑भिर्गृणा॒ना ||

vājínīvatī sū́ryasya yóṣā citrā́maghā rāyá īśe vásūnām ŕ̥ṣiṣṭutā jaráyantī maghóny uṣā́ uchati váhnibhir gr̥ṇānā́

Possessing abundance, the young female, spouse of Surya, rules wondrous, abundant wealth and riches. Consuming youth, praised by sages, Dawn shines forth, lauded by the singers.

Stanza 7.75.6

प्रति॑ द्युता॒नाम॑रु॒षासो॒ अश्वा॑श्चि॒त्रा अ॑दृश्रन्नु॒षसं॒ वह॑न्तः | याति॑ शु॒भ्रा वि॑श्व॒पिशा॒ रथे॑न॒ दधा॑ति॒ रत्नं॑ विध॒ते जना॑य ||

práti dyutānā́m aruṣā́so áśvāś citrā́ adr̥śrann uṣásaṁ váhantaḥ yā́ti śubhrā́ viśvapíśā ráthena dádhāti rátnaṁ vidhaté jánāya

The bright red horses carrying the splendid Dawn were seen. She moves on a beautiful chariot, brilliant with all forms, and gives a treasure to the worshipper.

Stanza 7.75.7

स॒त्या स॒त्येभि॑र्मह॒ती म॒हद्भि॑र्दे॒वी दे॒वेभि॑र्यज॒ता यज॑त्रैः | रु॒जद्दृ॒ळ्हानि॒ दद॑दु॒स्रिया॑णां॒ प्रति॒ गाव॑ उ॒षसं॑ वावशन्त ||

satyā́ satyébhir mahatī́ mahádbhir devī́ devébhir yajatā́ yájatraiḥ rujád dr̥ḷhā́ni dádad usríyāṇām práti gā́va uṣásaṁ vāvaśanta

True with the true, mighty with the mighty, a Goddess with Gods, holy with the holy, she broke down the strong defenses and gave the cows. The cows lowed towards the Dawn.

Stanza 7.75.8

नू नो॒ गोम॑द्वी॒रव॑द्धेहि॒ रत्न॒मुषो॒ अश्वा॑वत्पुरु॒भोजो॑ अ॒स्मे | मा नो॑ ब॒र्हिः पु॑रु॒षता॑ नि॒दे क॑र्यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः ||

nū́ no gómad vīrávad dhehi rátnam úṣo áśvāvad purubhójo asmé mā́ no barhíḥ puruṣátā nidé kar yūyám pāta svastíbhiḥ sádā naḥ

Now, O Dawn, grant us wealth with cows and heroes, with horses and abundant enjoyment. Do not let our offering be ruined by human failing. You all protect us always with blessings.
