प्र द्यावा॑ य॒ज्ञैः पृ॑थि॒वी नमो॑भिः स॒बाध॑ ईळे बृह॒ती यज॑त्रे | ते चि॒द्धि पूर्वे॑ क॒वयो॑ गृ॒णन्तः॑ पु॒रो म॒ही द॑धि॒रे दे॒वपु॑त्रे ||
prá dyā́vā yajñaíḥ pr̥thivī́ námobhiḥ sabā́dha īḷe br̥hatī́ yájatre té cid dhí pū́rve kaváyo gr̥ṇántaḥ puró mahī́ dadhiré deváputre
With sacrifices and adorations, I earnestly pray to the vast Heaven and Earth. Indeed, the ancient sages, singing praises, placed them, the divine parents, in a foremost position.

prá pūrvajé pitárā návyasībhir gīrbhíḥ kr̥ṇudhvaṁ sádane r̥tásya ā́ no dyāvāpr̥thivī daívyena jánena yātam máhi vāṁ várūtham
With newest hymns, O Heaven and Earth, the parents born first, establish yourselves in the seat of Order. Come to us, O Heaven and Earth, with the divine assembly; great is your protection.

utó hí vāṁ ratnadhéyāni sánti purū́ṇi dyāvāpr̥thivī sudā́se asmé dhattaṁ yád ásad áskr̥dhoyu yūyám pāta svastíbhiḥ sádā naḥ
And indeed, O Heaven and Earth, you possess many treasures for bestowal. Grant us, O Heaven and Earth, abundant wealth. You protect us ever with blessings.
