To Rudra, the god with the firm bow, the swift-arrowed, self-reliant, and unconquered one, the wise, the mighty, and sharp-weaponed deity, we offer these songs. May he hear us.
The singer addresses the fierce deity Rudra, presenting him with hymns of praise. Rudra is depicted as a powerful warrior with a strong bow and swift arrows, possessing divine authority and formidable weapons. The intention is to invoke Rudra's attention and favor, hoping he will listen to these devotional offerings.
