Stanza 7.30.1
आ नो॑ देव॒ शव॑सा याहि शुष्मि॒न्भवा॑ वृ॒ध इ॑न्द्र रा॒यो अ॒स्य | म॒हे नृ॒म्णाय॑ नृपते सुवज्र॒ महि॑ क्ष॒त्राय॒ पौंस्या॑य शूर ||
ā́ no deva śávasā yāhi śuṣmin bhávā vr̥dhá indra rāyó asyá mahé nr̥mṇā́ya nr̥pate suvajra máhi kṣatrā́ya paúṁsyāya śūra
O divine Indra, come to us with your power and might! Be a source of growth for our riches, O Lord with the strong vajra. Grant us great power, dominion, and heroism.
The Rishi is calling upon Indra, the mighty god, to approach them with his strength and power. He asks Indra to be a source of growth for their wealth and to bestow upon them great valor, dominion, and heroic prowess.

हव॑न्त उ त्वा॒ हव्यं॒ विवा॑चि त॒नूषु॒ शूराः॒ सूर्य॑स्य सा॒तौ | त्वं विश्वे॑षु॒ सेन्यो॒ जने॑षु॒ त्वं वृ॒त्राणि॑ रन्धया सु॒हन्तु॑ ||
hávanta u tvā hávyaṁ vívāci tanū́ṣu śū́rāḥ sū́ryasya sātaú tváṁ víśveṣu sényo jáneṣu tváṁ vr̥trā́ṇi randhayā suhántu
Heroes call upon you, worthy of invocation, in the midst of their lives and struggles. You are preeminent among all peoples. O Indra, make our enemies easily fall before us.
Heroes invoke Indra, who is worthy of invocation, to come to them in their battles and struggles. He is seen as the foremost among all people, and the Rishi prays that Indra will grant them victory by causing their enemies to be easily defeated.

O Indra, may we have bright days! May you bring your most excellent banner to the battles. May Agni, the divine priest, be seated, calling the gods for our great good fortune.
The Rishi prays for favorable days, asking Indra to bring his divine banner near in times of conflict. Agni, the divine priest, is invoked to sit and call the gods, ensuring good fortune for those who seek divine help.

We are yours, O Indra, as are those who praise you and give gifts. O hero, provide the best protection to our leaders, so they may reach old age and still be strong.
The speaker declares allegiance to Indra, along with those who praise him and offer gifts. They ask Indra to grant their leaders excellent protection and the ability to live long and remain strong and prosperous.
