Stanza 7.14.1
स॒मिधा॑ जा॒तवे॑दसे दे॒वाय॑ दे॒वहू॑तिभिः | ह॒विर्भिः॑ शु॒क्रशो॑चिषे नम॒स्विनो॑ व॒यं दा॑शेमा॒ग्नये॑ ||
samídhā jātávedase devā́ya deváhūtibhiḥ havírbhiḥ śukráśociṣe namasvíno vayáṁ dāśemāgnáye
With fuel, O knower of all births, to the divine one, with prayers invoking the gods, with offerings, to the one with bright flames, reverently, we will give to Agni.

व॒यं ते॑ अग्ने स॒मिधा॑ विधेम व॒यं दा॑शेम सुष्टु॒ती य॑जत्र | व॒यं घृ॒तेना॑ध्वरस्य होतर्व॒यं दे॑व ह॒विषा॑ भद्रशोचे ||
vayáṁ te agne samídhā vidhema vayáṁ dāśema suṣṭutī́ yajatra vayáṁ ghr̥ténādhvarasya hotar vayáṁ deva havíṣā bhadraśoce
Agni, may we serve you with fuel, may we give to you with excellent praise, O venerable one. May we, O priest of sacrifice, serve you with clarified butter. May we, O god of blessed light, serve you with offerings.
This verse continues the prayer to Agni, emphasizing the devotion of the worshippers. They express their desire to serve Agni with fuel (samidha), honor him with excellent praise (sushtuti), and worship him with clarified butter (ghritena) as the priest of the sacrifice (adhvarasya hotar). आ नो॑ दे॒वेभि॒रुप॑ दे॒वहू॑ति॒मग्ने॑ या॒हि वष॑ट्कृतिं जुषा॒णः | तुभ्यं॑ दे॒वाय॒ दाश॑तः स्याम यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभिः॒ सदा॑ नः ||
ā́ no devébhir úpa deváhūtim ágne yāhí váṣaṭkr̥tiṁ juṣāṇáḥ túbhyaṁ devā́ya dā́śataḥ syāma yūyám pāta svastíbhiḥ sádā naḥ
Come to us, O Agni, with the gods, to our invocation, pleased with the Vashat-call. May we be yours, O god, who offer. You all, protect us always with blessings.
