    Stanza 6.5.1

    हु॒वे वः॑ सू॒नुं सह॑सो॒ युवा॑न॒मद्रो॑घवाचं म॒तिभि॒र्यवि॑ष्ठम् | य इन्व॑ति॒ द्रवि॑णानि॒ प्रचे॑ता वि॒श्ववा॑राणि पुरु॒वारो॑ अ॒ध्रुक् ||

    huvé vaḥ sūnúṁ sáhaso yúvānam ádroghavācam matíbhir yáviṣṭham yá ínvati dráviṇāni prácetā viśvávārāṇi puruvā́ro adhrúk

    I call upon you, O divine being, your youthful son of strength, whose speech is impeccable. He is the youngest, wise, and brings all kinds of wealth, is rich in many ways, and is unyielding.

    Stanza 6.5.2

    त्वे वसू॑नि पुर्वणीक होतर्दो॒षा वस्तो॒रेरि॑रे य॒ज्ञिया॑सः | क्षामे॑व॒ विश्वा॒ भुव॑नानि॒ यस्मि॒न्त्सं सौभ॑गानि दधि॒रे पा॑व॒के ||

    tvé vásūni purvaṇīka hotar doṣā́ vástor érire yajñíyāsaḥ kṣā́meva víśvā bhúvanāni yásmin sáṁ saúbhagāni dadhiré pāvaké

    O priest with many forms, in you, at evening and morning, the divine beings take refuge. All worldly beings have established their prosperity in you, the purifier, as if on firm ground.

    Stanza 6.5.3

    त्वं वि॒क्षु प्र॒दिवः॑ सीद आ॒सु क्रत्वा॑ र॒थीर॑भवो॒ वार्या॑णाम् | अत॑ इनोषि विध॒ते चि॑कित्वो॒ व्या॑नु॒षग्जा॑तवेदो॒ वसू॑नि ||

    tváṁ vikṣú pradívaḥ sīda āsú krátvā rathī́r abhavo vā́ryāṇām áta inoṣi vidhaté cikitvo vy āā̀nuṣág jātavedo vásūni

    You have long dwelt among the people, O Agni. By your power, you have become the leader of desirable things. Therefore, O knowing one, you always grant wealth to the one who offers to you.

    Stanza 6.5.4

    यो नः॒ सनु॑त्यो अभि॒दास॑दग्ने॒ यो अन्त॑रो मित्रमहो वनु॒ष्यात् | तम॒जरे॑भि॒र्वृष॑भि॒स्तव॒ स्वैस्तपा॑ तपिष्ठ॒ तप॑सा॒ तप॑स्वान् ||

    yó naḥ sánutyo abhidā́sad agne yó ántaro mitramaho vanuṣyā́t tám ajárebhir vŕ̥ṣabhis táva svaís tápā tapiṣṭha tápasā tápasvān

    O Agni, whoever secretly attacks us or is a harmful neighbor, burn him with your strength. With your own powerful, youthful energies, O you who are the fiercest burner, burn him with your heat.

    Stanza 6.5.5

    यस्ते॑ य॒ज्ञेन॑ स॒मिधा॒ य उ॒क्थैर॒र्केभिः॑ सूनो सहसो॒ ददा॑शत् | स मर्त्ये॑ष्वमृत॒ प्रचे॑ता रा॒या द्यु॒म्नेन॒ श्रव॑सा॒ वि भा॑ति ||

    yás te yajñéna samídhā yá ukthaír arkébhiḥ sūno sahaso dádāśat sá mártyeṣv amr̥ta prácetā rāyā́ dyumnéna śrávasā ví bhāti

    The one who serves you, O son of strength, with sacrifice and fuel, with hymns and chants, that immortal and wise one shines among mortals with wealth, glory, and fame.

    Stanza 6.5.6

    स तत्कृ॑धीषि॒तस्तूय॑मग्ने॒ स्पृधो॑ बाधस्व॒ सह॑सा॒ सह॑स्वान् | यच्छ॒स्यसे॒ द्युभि॑र॒क्तो वचो॑भि॒स्तज्जु॑षस्व जरि॒तुर्घोषि॒ मन्म॑ ||

    sá tát kr̥dhīṣitás tū́yam agne spŕ̥dho bādhasva sáhasā sáhasvān yác chasyáse dyúbhir aktó vácobhis táj juṣasva jaritúr ghóṣi mánma

    O Agni, do this quickly when urged. Subdue the opponents with your might, O powerful one. Accept this chanted hymn, O brilliant one, praised with words and adorned with light.

    Stanza 6.5.7

    अ॒श्याम॒ तं काम॑मग्ने॒ तवो॒ती अ॒श्याम॑ र॒यिं र॑यिवः सु॒वीर॑म् | अ॒श्याम॒ वाज॑म॒भि वा॒जय॑न्तो॒ऽश्याम॑ द्यु॒म्नम॑जरा॒जरं॑ ते ||

    aśyā́ma táṁ kā́mam agne távotī́ aśyā́ma rayíṁ rayivaḥ suvī́ram aśyā́ma vā́jam abhí vājáyanto 'śyā́ma dyumnám ajarājáraṁ te

    O Agni, may we gain that desire with your help. O Wealthy One, may we gain riches with heroic sons. May we, while seeking victory, gain strength. O eternal one, may we gain your eternal glory.
