Stanza 6.57.1

इन्द्रा॒ नु पू॒षणा॑ व॒यं स॒ख्याय॑ स्व॒स्तये॑ | हु॒वेम॒ वाज॑सातये ||

índrā nú pūṣáṇā vayáṁ sakhyā́ya svastáye huvéma vā́jasātaye

Let us invoke Indra and Pushan for friendship, well-being, and for gaining abundance.

Stanza 6.57.2

सोम॑म॒न्य उपा॑सद॒त्पात॑वे च॒म्वोः॑ सु॒तम् | क॒र॒म्भम॒न्य इ॑च्छति ||

sómam anyá úpāsadat pā́tave camvòḥ sutám karambhám anyá ichati

One sits down to drink the Soma juice pressed into the vessels; the other seeks curd and grain.

Stanza 6.57.3

अ॒जा अ॒न्यस्य॒ वह्न॑यो॒ हरी॑ अ॒न्यस्य॒ सम्भृ॑ता | ताभ्यां॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ जिघ्नते ||

ajā́ anyásya váhnayo hárī anyásya sámbhr̥tā tā́bhyāṁ vr̥trā́ṇi jighnate

Goats are the carriers for one; for the other, bay horses are brought; with both, he strikes down enemies.

Stanza 6.57.4

यदिन्द्रो॒ अन॑य॒द्रितो॑ म॒हीर॒पो वृष॑न्तमः | तत्र॑ पू॒षाभ॑व॒त्सचा॑ ||

yád índro ánayad ríto mahī́r apó vŕ̥ṣantamaḥ tátra pūṣā́bhavat sácā

When Indra, the mightiest, led forth the great waters, there Pushan was present alongside.

Stanza 6.57.5

तां पू॒ष्णः सु॑म॒तिं व॒यं वृ॒क्षस्य॒ प्र व॒यामि॑व | इन्द्र॑स्य॒ चा र॑भामहे ||

tā́m pūṣṇáḥ sumatíṁ vayáṁ vr̥kṣásya prá vayā́m iva índrasya cā́ rabhāmahe

That favor of Pushan, and of Indra, we grasp tightly, like a plant clinging to a tree.

Stanza 6.57.6

उत्पू॒षणं॑ युवामहे॒ऽभीशूँ॑रिव॒ सार॑थिः | म॒ह्या इन्द्रं॑ स्व॒स्तये॑ ||

út pūṣáṇaṁ yuvāmahe 'bhī́śūm̐r iva sā́rathiḥ mahyā́ índraṁ svastáye

May we draw near Pushan, like a charioteer with his reins; and great Indra, for our well-being.
