Stanza 6.56.1

य ए॑नमा॒दिदे॑शति कर॒म्भादिति॑ पू॒षण॑म् | न तेन॑ दे॒व आ॒दिशे॑ ||

yá enam ādídeśati karambhā́d íti pūṣáṇam ná téna devá ādíśe

Whoever remembers Pushan as the provider of the mixture of curd and grain, does not need to think about other gods.

Stanza 6.56.2

उ॒त घा॒ स र॒थीत॑मः॒ सख्या॒ सत्प॑तिर्यु॒जा | इन्द्रो॑ वृ॒त्राणि॑ जिघ्नते ||

utá ghā sá rathī́tamaḥ sákhyā sátpatir yujā́ índro vr̥trā́ṇi jighnate

And he, the best of charioteers, along with the hero's leader, united in friendship, Indra destroys the enemies.

Stanza 6.56.3

उ॒तादः प॑रु॒षे गवि॒ सूर॑श्च॒क्रं हि॑र॒ण्यय॑म् | न्यै॑रयद्र॒थीत॑मः ||

utā́dáḥ paruṣé gávi sū́raś cakráṁ hiraṇyáyam ny a .ìrayad rathī́tamaḥ

And there, the best of charioteers, pushed forward the golden wheel of the Sun in the speckled cloud.

Stanza 6.56.4

यद॒द्य त्वा॑ पुरुष्टुत॒ ब्रवा॑म दस्र मन्तुमः | तत्सु नो॒ मन्म॑ साधय ||

yád adyá tvā puruṣṭuta brávāma dasra mantumaḥ tát sú no mánma sādhaya

Whatever we may say today to you, O wondrous one praised by many, fulfill our thoughts.

Stanza 6.56.5

इ॒मं च॑ नो ग॒वेष॑णं सा॒तये॑ सीषधो ग॒णम् | आ॒रात्पू॑षन्नसि श्रु॒तः ||

imáṁ ca no gavéṣaṇaṁ sātáye sīṣadho gaṇám ārā́t pūṣann asi śrutáḥ

O Pushan, lead our company that seeks cows for gain; you are famous from afar.

Stanza 6.56.6

आ ते॑ स्व॒स्तिमी॑मह आ॒रेअ॑घा॒मुपा॑वसुम् | अ॒द्या च॑ स॒र्वता॑तये॒ श्वश्च॑ स॒र्वता॑तये ||

ā́ te svastím īmaha āréaghām úpāvasum adyā́ ca sarvátātaye śváś ca sarvátātaye

We desire well-being from you, far from sin and near to wealth, for complete prosperity today and tomorrow.
