हु॒वे वः॑ सू॒नुं सह॑सो॒ युवा॑न॒मद्रो॑घवाचं म॒तिभि॒र्यवि॑ष्ठम् | य इन्व॑ति॒ द्रवि॑णानि॒ प्रचे॑ता वि॒श्ववा॑राणि पुरु॒वारो॑ अ॒ध्रुक् ||
huvé vaḥ sūnúṁ sáhaso yúvānam ádroghavācam matíbhir yáviṣṭham yá ínvati dráviṇāni prácetā viśvávārāṇi puruvā́ro adhrúk
I call upon you, O divine being, your youthful son of strength, whose speech is impeccable. He is the youngest, wise, and brings all kinds of wealth, is rich in many ways, and is unyielding.
The seer invokes the youthful son of strength, who is the youngest god, possessing flawless speech. This divine being, who is wise and pervades all things, is capable of bestowing all desired riches and is free from malice.

tvé vásūni purvaṇīka hotar doṣā́ vástor érire yajñíyāsaḥ kṣā́meva víśvā bhúvanāni yásmin sáṁ saúbhagāni dadhiré pāvaké
O priest with many forms, in you, at evening and morning, the divine beings take refuge. All worldly beings have established their prosperity in you, the purifier, as if on firm ground.
In you, O priest of many functions, at both evening and morning, many divine beings have established themselves like firm ground, securing all good fortune and prosperity for all living beings. This is achieved through your purifying nature.

tváṁ vikṣú pradívaḥ sīda āsú krátvā rathī́r abhavo vā́ryāṇām áta inoṣi vidhaté cikitvo vy āā̀nuṣág jātavedo vásūni
You have long dwelt among the people, O Agni. By your power, you have become the leader of desirable things. Therefore, O knowing one, you always grant wealth to the one who offers to you.
You, O wise Agni, have resided among the people since ancient times, becoming like a charioteer of desirable things through your power. Therefore, O knowing Agni, you bestow wealth upon the worshipper who offers to you, continuously and in succession.

O Agni, whoever secretly attacks us or is a harmful neighbor, burn him with your strength. With your own powerful, youthful energies, O you who are the fiercest burner, burn him with your heat.
O Agni, with Mitra's might, burn away anyone who secretly attacks us or is a malicious neighbor. Burn him with your ever-youthful, powerful energies, with your strongest heat, O you who possess fiery power.
