Stanza 6.33.1

य ओजि॑ष्ठ इन्द्र॒ तं सु नो॑ दा॒ मदो॑ वृषन्त्स्वभि॒ष्टिर्दास्वा॑न् | सौव॑श्व्यं॒ यो व॒नव॒त्स्वश्वो॑ वृ॒त्रा स॒मत्सु॑ सा॒सह॑द॒मित्रा॑न् ||

yá ójiṣṭha indra táṁ sú no dā mádo vr̥ṣan svabhiṣṭír dā́svān saúvaśvyaṁ yó vanávat sváśvo vr̥trā́ samátsu sāsáhad amítrān

O Indra, most powerful bull, grant us that exhilaration! You are prompt to bestow, swift to help, and possess splendid horses. You win in battles with swift horses, and conquer the Vṛtras and enemies.

Stanza 6.33.2

त्वां ही॒३॒॑न्द्राव॑से॒ विवा॑चो॒ हव॑न्ते चर्ष॒णयः॒ शूर॑सातौ | त्वं विप्रे॑भि॒र्वि प॒णीँर॑शाय॒स्त्वोत॒ इत्सनि॑ता॒ वाज॒मर्वा॑ ||

tvā́ṁ hīā̀ndrā́vase vívāco hávante carṣaṇáyaḥ śū́rasātau tváṁ víprebhir ví paṇī́m̐r aśāyas tvóta ít sánitā vā́jam árvā

Indeed, the tribes invoke you, Indra, with loud cries for help in battle. You, with the priests, have pierced through the Paṇis. The horse that you favor, O Indra, wins the prize.

Stanza 6.33.3

त्वं ताँ इ॑न्द्रो॒भयाँ॑ अ॒मित्रा॒न्दासा॑ वृ॒त्राण्यार्या॑ च शूर | वधी॒र्वने॑व॒ सुधि॑तेभि॒रत्कै॒रा पृ॒त्सु द॑र्षि नृ॒णां नृ॑तम ||

tváṁ tā́m̐ indrobháyām̐ amítrān dā́sā vr̥trā́ṇy ā́ryā ca śūra vádhīr váneva súdhitebhir átkair ā́ pr̥tsú darṣi nr̥ṇā́ṁ nr̥tama

O Indra, O Hero, you have struck down both the enemies, the Dasas and the Aryas. You felled them like trees with well-aimed lightning. In battles, you are the most manly one among men.

Stanza 6.33.4

स त्वं न॑ इ॒न्द्राक॑वाभिरू॒ती सखा॑ वि॒श्वायु॑रवि॒ता वृ॒धे भूः॑ | स्व॑र्षाता॒ यद्ध्वया॑मसि त्वा॒ युध्य॑न्तो ने॒मधि॑ता पृ॒त्सु शू॑र ||

sá tváṁ na indrā́kavābhir ūtī́ sákhā viśvā́yur avitā́ vr̥dhé bhūḥ svàrṣātā yád dhváyāmasi tvā yúdhyanto nemádhitā pr̥tsú śūra

O Indra, be our friend with your powerful help. Be our protector, a source of growth. When we invoke you, fighting for the light, may you be present in battles, O Hero.

Stanza 6.33.5

नू॒नं न॑ इन्द्राप॒राय॑ च स्या॒ भवा॑ मृळी॒क उ॒त नो॑ अ॒भिष्टौ॑ | इ॒त्था गृ॒णन्तो॑ म॒हिन॑स्य॒ शर्म॑न्दि॒वि ष्या॑म॒ पार्ये॑ गो॒षत॑माः ||

nūnáṁ na indrāparā́ya ca syā bhávā mr̥ḷīká utá no abhíṣṭau itthā́ gr̥ṇánto mahínasya śárman diví ṣyāma pā́rye goṣátamāḥ

O Indra, now and in the future, be gracious and helpful to us. May we, singing in your great protection, dwell in the heavens and win abundant cattle.
