Stanza 6.32.1

अपू॑र्व्या पुरु॒तमा॑न्यस्मै म॒हे वी॒राय॑ त॒वसे॑ तु॒राय॑ | वि॒र॒प्शिने॑ व॒ज्रिणे॒ शंत॑मानि॒ वचां॑स्या॒सा स्थवि॑राय तक्षम् ||

ápūrvyā purutámāny asmai mahé vīrā́ya taváse turā́ya virapśíne vajríṇe śáṁtamāni vácāṁsy āsā́ sthávirāya takṣam

For this mighty hero, I have fashioned unmatched and most abundant, auspicious words. For him, the ancient, great, strong, swift, magnificent, and thunder-wielding one.

Stanza 6.32.2

स मा॒तरा॒ सूर्ये॑णा कवी॒नामवा॑सयद्रु॒जदद्रिं॑ गृणा॒नः | स्वा॒धीभि॒र्ऋक्व॑भिर्वावशा॒न उदु॒स्रिया॑णामसृजन्नि॒दान॑म् ||

sá mātárā sū́ryeṇā kavīnā́m ávāsayad rujád ádriṁ gr̥ṇānáḥ svādhī́bhir ŕ̥kvabhir vāvaśāná úd usríyāṇām asr̥jan nidā́nam

He, the sage, with the singers and their chants, inspired the parents with the sun, burst open the mountain, and roaring, released the streams.

Stanza 6.32.3

स वह्नि॑भि॒र्ऋक्व॑भि॒र्गोषु॒ शश्व॑न्मि॒तज्ञु॑भिः पुरु॒कृत्वा॑ जिगाय | पुरः॑ पुरो॒हा सखि॑भिः सखी॒यन्दृ॒ळ्हा रु॑रोज क॒विभिः॑ क॒विः सन् ||

sá váhnibhir ŕ̥kvabhir góṣu śáśvan mitájñubhiḥ purukŕ̥tvā jigāya púraḥ purohā́ sákhibhiḥ sakhīyán dr̥ḷhā́ ruroja kavíbhiḥ kavíḥ sán

He, the doer of many deeds, with the priests and singers, has always won in battles for the cows, and shattered the strong forts. He, the friend, with friends, the sage, with sages.

Stanza 6.32.4

स नी॒व्या॑भिर्जरि॒तार॒मच्छा॑ म॒हो वाजे॑भिर्म॒हद्भि॑श्च॒ शुष्मैः॑ | पु॒रु॒वीरा॑भिर्वृषभ क्षिती॒नामा गि॑र्वणः सुवि॒ताय॒ प्र या॑हि ||

sá nīvyāā̀bhir jaritā́ram áchā mahó vā́jebhir mahádbhiś ca śúṣmaiḥ puruvī́rābhir vr̥ṣabha kṣitīnā́m ā́ girvaṇaḥ suvitā́ya prá yāhi

O Bull of men, praise-worthy one, come with your mares, with abundant vigour and great strength, towards the singer, for well-being.

Stanza 6.32.5

स सर्गे॑ण॒ शव॑सा त॒क्तो अत्यै॑र॒प इन्द्रो॑ दक्षिण॒तस्तु॑रा॒षाट् | इ॒त्था सृ॑जा॒ना अन॑पावृ॒दर्थं॑ दि॒वेदि॑वे विविषुरप्रमृ॒ष्यम् ||

sá sárgeṇa śávasā taktó átyair apá índro dakṣiṇatás turāṣā́ṭ itthā́ sr̥jānā́ ánapāvr̥d árthaṁ divé-dive viviṣur apramr̥ṣyám

He, the conqueror, propelled by his steeds with his power, released the waters from the south. Thus, flowing daily, the unceasing waters move towards their goal.
