    Stanza 5.6.1

    अ॒ग्निं तं म॑न्ये॒ यो वसु॒रस्तं॒ यं यन्ति॑ धे॒नवः॑ | अस्त॒मर्व॑न्त आ॒शवोऽस्तं॒ नित्या॑सो वा॒जिन॒ इषं॑ स्तो॒तृभ्य॒ आ भ॑र ||

    agníṁ tám manye yó vásur ástaṁ yáṁ yánti dhenávaḥ ástam árvanta āśávó 'staṁ nítyāso vājína íṣaṁ stotŕ̥bhya ā́ bhara

    I consider Agni to be that Vasu, to whom the cows return home, to whom the swift horses go home, to whom our own strong horses go home. Bring nourishment to us, your worshippers!

    Stanza 5.6.2

    सो अ॒ग्निर्यो वसु॑र्गृ॒णे सं यमा॒यन्ति॑ धे॒नवः॑ | समर्व॑न्तो रघु॒द्रुवः॒ सं सु॑जा॒तासः॑ सू॒रय॒ इषं॑ स्तो॒तृभ्य॒ आ भ॑र ||

    só agnír yó vásur gr̥ṇé sáṁ yám āyánti dhenávaḥ sám árvanto raghudrúvaḥ sáṁ sujātā́saḥ sūráya íṣaṁ stotŕ̥bhya ā́ bhara

    He is that Agni who is praised as the Vasu, to whom the cows gather, to whom the swift horses gather, and the generous patrons gather. Bring nourishment to us, your worshippers!

    Stanza 5.6.3

    अ॒ग्निर्हि वा॒जिनं॑ वि॒शे ददा॑ति वि॒श्वच॑र्षणिः | अ॒ग्नी रा॒ये स्वा॒भुवं॒ स प्री॒तो या॑ति॒ वार्य॒मिषं॑ स्तो॒तृभ्य॒ आ भ॑र ||

    agnír hí vājínaṁ viśé dádāti viśvácarṣaṇiḥ agnī́ rāyé svābhúvaṁ sá prītó yāti vā́ryam íṣaṁ stotŕ̥bhya ā́ bhara

    Indeed, Agni, the one who sees all, gives a powerful steed to the people, and gives beneficial wealth. When pleased, he grants precious things. Bring nourishment to us, your worshippers!

    Stanza 5.6.4

    आ ते॑ अग्न इधीमहि द्यु॒मन्तं॑ देवा॒जर॑म् | यद्ध॒ स्या ते॒ पनी॑यसी स॒मिद्दी॒दय॑ति॒ द्यवीषं॑ स्तो॒तृभ्य॒ आ भ॑र ||

    ā́ te agna idhīmahi dyumántaṁ devājáram yád dha syā́ te pánīyasī samíd dīdáyati dyávī́ṣaṁ stotŕ̥bhya ā́ bhara

    May we kindle you, O Agni, O god, the brilliant and eternal one! May your wonderful fuel shine forth in the sky. Bring nourishment to us, your worshippers!

    Stanza 5.6.5

    आ ते॑ अग्न ऋ॒चा ह॒विः शुक्र॑स्य शोचिषस्पते | सुश्च॑न्द्र॒ दस्म॒ विश्प॑ते॒ हव्य॑वा॒ट् तुभ्यं॑ हूयत॒ इषं॑ स्तो॒तृभ्य॒ आ भ॑र ||

    ā́ te agna r̥cā́ havíḥ śúkrasya śociṣas pate súścandra dásma víśpate hávyavāṭ túbhyaṁ hūyata íṣaṁ stotŕ̥bhya ā́ bhara

    To you, O Agni, our offering comes with the sacred verse, O lord of bright splendor! O wondrous one, O lord of the people, O bearer of offerings! To you, you are invoked. Bring nourishment to us, your worshippers!

    Stanza 5.6.6

    प्रो त्ये अ॒ग्नयो॒ऽग्निषु॒ विश्वं॑ पुष्यन्ति॒ वार्य॑म् | ते हि॑न्विरे॒ त इ॑न्विरे॒ त इ॑षण्यन्त्यानु॒षगिषं॑ स्तो॒तृभ्य॒ आ भ॑र ||

    pró tyé agnáyo 'gníṣu víśvam puṣyanti vā́ryam té hinvire tá invire tá iṣaṇyanty ānuṣág íṣaṁ stotŕ̥bhya ā́ bhara

    Those Agnis, within the fires, nourish all precious things. They impel, they stimulate, they move forward in succession. Bring nourishment to us, your worshippers!

    Stanza 5.6.7

    तव॒ त्ये अ॑ग्ने अ॒र्चयो॒ महि॑ व्राधन्त वा॒जिनः॑ | ये पत्व॑भिः श॒फानां॑ व्र॒जा भु॒रन्त॒ गोना॒मिषं॑ स्तो॒तृभ्य॒ आ भ॑र ||

    táva tyé agne arcáyo máhi vrādhanta vājínaḥ yé pátvabhiḥ śaphā́nāṁ vrajā́ bhuránta gónām íṣaṁ stotŕ̥bhya ā́ bhara

    O Agni, those brilliant flames of yours, like powerful steeds, have greatly made the cow-stables tremble with the speed of their hoofs. Bring nourishment to us, your worshippers!

    Stanza 5.6.8

    नवा॑ नो अग्न॒ आ भ॑र स्तो॒तृभ्यः॑ सुक्षि॒तीरिषः॑ | ते स्या॑म॒ य आ॑नृ॒चुस्त्वादू॑तासो॒ दमे॑दम॒ इषं॑ स्तो॒तृभ्य॒ आ भ॑र ||

    návā no agna ā́ bhara stotŕ̥bhyaḥ sukṣitī́r íṣaḥ té syāma yá ānr̥cús tvā́dūtāso dáme dama íṣaṁ stotŕ̥bhya ā́ bhara

    O Agni, bring new nourishment and good dwellings to us, your worshippers! May we be those who have praised you and have you as our messenger in every home. Bring nourishment to us, your worshippers!

    Stanza 5.6.9

    उ॒भे सु॑श्चन्द्र स॒र्पिषो॒ दर्वी॑ श्रीणीष आ॒सनि॑ | उ॒तो न॒ उत्पु॑पूर्या उ॒क्थेषु॑ शवसस्पत॒ इषं॑ स्तो॒तृभ्य॒ आ भ॑र ||

    ubhé suścandra sarpíṣo dárvī śrīṇīṣa āsáni utó na út pupūryā ukthéṣu śavasas pata íṣaṁ stotŕ̥bhya ā́ bhara

    O highly brilliant Agni, you warm the two ladles full of ghee in your mouth. May you also fill us abundantly in our hymns, O Lord of Strength! Bring nourishment to us, your worshippers!

    Stanza 5.6.10

    ए॒वाँ अ॒ग्निम॑जुर्यमुर्गी॒र्भिर्य॒ज्ञेभि॑रानु॒षक् | दध॑द॒स्मे सु॒वीर्य॑मु॒त त्यदा॒श्वश्व्य॒मिषं॑ स्तो॒तृभ्य॒ आ भ॑र ||

    evā́m̐ agním ajuryamur gīrbhír yajñébhir ānuṣák dádhad asmé suvī́ryam utá tyád āśváśvyam íṣaṁ stotŕ̥bhya ā́ bhara

    Thus we have served Agni with hymns and sacrifices. May he bestow upon us great strength and abundant swift horses. Bring nourishment to us, your worshippers!
