प्र वो॑ मि॒त्राय॑ गायत॒ वरु॑णाय वि॒पा गि॒रा | महि॑क्षत्रावृ॒तं बृ॒हत् ||
prá vo mitrā́ya gāyata váruṇāya vipā́ girā́ máhikṣatrāv r̥tám br̥hát
Sing forth, with song and hymn, to Mitra and Varuṇa! Their might is vast, their dominion is great, upholding the cosmic order.
