सं भा॒नुना॑ यतते॒ सूर्य॑स्या॒जुह्वा॑नो घृ॒तपृ॑ष्ठः॒ स्वञ्चाः॑ | तस्मा॒ अमृ॑ध्रा उ॒षसो॒ व्यु॑च्छा॒न्य इन्द्रा॑य सु॒नवा॒मेत्याह॑ ||
sám bhānúnā yatate sū́ryasyājúhvāno ghr̥tápr̥ṣṭhaḥ sváñcāḥ tásmā ámr̥dhrā uṣáso vy ùchān yá índrāya sunávāméty ā́ha
Shining with the sun's brilliance, this being strives, well-prepared and swift. For such a one, may prosperous dawns continuously break. We declare: 'Let us press the Soma juice for Indra!'

sámiddhāgnir vanavat stīrṇábarhir yuktágrāvā sutásomo jarāte grā́vāṇo yásyeṣiráṁ vádanty áyad adhvaryúr havíṣā́va síndhum
Let the fire be kindled, the grass spread, the pressing stones set. As the Soma juice is pressed, let him sing. Whose stones make a vigorous sound, let that Adhvaryu priest go down to the river with his offering.

vadhū́r iyám pátim ichánty eti yá īṁ váhāte máhiṣīm iṣirā́m ā́sya śravasyād rátha ā́ ca ghoṣāt purū́ sahásrā pári vartayāte
This wife, seeking her husband, comes. He who carries the vigorous consort. May his chariot achieve fame, may it loudly thunder, and may it turn around thousands of times.

ná sá rā́jā vyathate yásminn índras tīvráṁ sómam píbati gósakhāyam ā́ satvanaír ájati hánti vr̥tráṁ kṣéti kṣitī́ḥ subhágo nā́ma púṣyan
That king does not falter, in whose home Indra drinks the strong Soma with milk. He advances with heroes, he slays the foe, he rules the people, growing in fortune.
This verse describes a king or leader who is protected and prosperous because Indra, the king of the gods, favors him. Indra drinks the potent Soma juice (tīvrám sómam) prepared with milk (gósakhāyam) in his presence. This leader, supported by heroes (satvanáir ajāti), is successful in battle, slaying enemies (vr̥trám hanti), and governs his people (kṣéti kṣitíḥ) well. He is celebrated for his good fortune (subhágaḥ nāma púṣyan), embodying auspiciousness and protection.

May he thrive in peace and be victorious in endeavors. He conquers both opposing forces that meet. Dear shall he be to the Sun, dear to Agni, who gives pressed Soma to Indra.
This verse speaks of continued success and favor for one who supports and upholds important principles or deities. It wishes for this individual to prosper in peace (kṣéme) and be victorious in conflicts or endeavors (yóge). Such a person becomes dear to the Sun (sū́rye) and Agni (agnā́), indicating divine favor.
