yás tastámbha sáhasā ví jmó ántān bŕ̥haspátis triṣadhasthó ráveṇa tám pratnā́sa ŕ̥ṣayo dī́dhyānāḥ puró víprā dadhire mandrájihvam
He who with might established the ends of the earth, the thrice-seated Brihaspati, with his thunderous voice. The ancient sages, deeply meditating, and the inspired poets, placed him, with his delightful speech, before them.

Those who are in motion, rejoicing in clear perception, O Brihaspati, who approached us. O Brihaspati, may you protect this place, which is full, uninjured, and vast.

bŕ̥haspata indra várdhataṁ naḥ sácā sā́ vāṁ sumatír bhūtv asmé aviṣṭáṁ dhíyo jigr̥tám púraṁdhīr jajastám aryó vanúṣām árātīḥ
O Brihaspati and Indra, increase us together; may your favor be with us. Assist our thoughts, seize our understanding; destroy the enmity of the rivals and the vanquished.
This is a final plea to Indra and Brihaspati, asking them to grant prosperity ('várdhatam naḥ'). The supplicants desire their favor ('sumatíḥ') and assistance in their endeavors ('aviṣṭaṃ dhíoḥ', 'púraṃdhīḥ jajastam'). They specifically request the gods to weaken or destroy ('jajastam') the animosity ('arátīḥ') of rivals and enemies ('aryáḥ vanúṣām'), implying a desire for protection and peace to pursue their spiritual and material goals.
