Stanza 3.52.1

धा॒नाव॑न्तं कर॒म्भिण॑मपू॒पव॑न्तमु॒क्थिन॑म् | इन्द्र॑ प्रा॒तर्जु॑षस्व नः ||

dhānā́vantaṁ karambhíṇam apūpávantam ukthínam índra prātár juṣasva naḥ

Indra, please enjoy our offerings at dawn: the roasted grains, the creamy porridge, the cakes, and our praise. We've prepared a feast for you!

Stanza 3.52.2

पु॒रो॒ळाशं॑ पच॒त्यं॑ जु॒षस्वे॒न्द्रा गु॑रस्व च | तुभ्यं॑ ह॒व्यानि॑ सिस्रते ||

puroḷā́śam pacatyàṁ juṣásvendrā́ gurasva ca túbhyaṁ havyā́ni sisrate

Indra, please enjoy this well-made cake, and accept our offerings that are flowing to you.

Stanza 3.52.3

पु॒रो॒ळाशं॑ च नो॒ घसो॑ जो॒षया॑से॒ गिर॑श्च नः | व॒धू॒युरि॑व॒ योष॑णाम् ||

puroḷā́śaṁ ca no gháso joṣáyāse gíraś ca naḥ vadhūyúr iva yóṣaṇām

Please accept our sacrificial cake and our songs of praise, Indra, just like a hopeful groom cherishes his bride.

Stanza 3.52.4

पु॒रो॒ळाशं॑ सनश्रुत प्रातःसा॒वे जु॑षस्व नः | इन्द्र॒ क्रतु॒र्हि ते॑ बृ॒हन् ||

puroḷā́śaṁ sanaśruta prātaḥsāvé juṣasva naḥ índra krátur hí te br̥hán

O Indra, known for ages, please accept this cake at the morning ritual. Your might is truly great, so accept our offering!

Stanza 3.52.5

माध्यं॑दिनस्य॒ सव॑नस्य धा॒नाः पु॑रो॒ळाश॑मिन्द्र कृष्वे॒ह चारु॑म् | प्र यत्स्तो॒ता ज॑रि॒ता तूर्ण्य॑र्थो वृषा॒यमा॑ण॒ उप॑ गी॒र्भिरीट्टे॑ ||

mā́dhyaṁdinasya sávanasya dhānā́ḥ puroḷā́śam indra kr̥ṣvehá cā́rum prá yát stotā́ jaritā́ tū́rṇyartho vr̥ṣāyámāṇa úpa gīrbhír ī́ṭṭe

Indra, please accept our roasted grains and cake during the midday ritual here. When the singer and praiser, acting powerfully, worship you with their heartfelt thoughts and hymns, you listen.

Stanza 3.52.6

तृ॒तीये॑ धा॒नाः सव॑ने पुरुष्टुत पुरो॒ळाश॒माहु॑तं मामहस्व नः | ऋ॒भु॒मन्तं॒ वाज॑वन्तं त्वा कवे॒ प्रय॑स्वन्त॒ उप॑ शिक्षेम धी॒तिभिः॑ ||

tr̥tī́ye dhānā́ḥ sávane puruṣṭuta puroḷā́śam ā́hutam māmahasva naḥ r̥bhumántaṁ vā́javantaṁ tvā kave práyasvanta úpa śikṣema dhītíbhiḥ

O Indra, praised by many, at the third ritual, please favor our offered roasted grains and cake. We wish to serve and understand you, who possess strength and are like the divine artisans, through our thoughts and devotion.

Stanza 3.52.7

पू॒ष॒ण्वते॑ ते चकृमा कर॒म्भं हरि॑वते॒ हर्य॑श्वाय धा॒नाः | अ॒पू॒पम॑द्धि॒ सग॑णो म॒रुद्भिः॒ सोमं॑ पिब वृत्र॒हा शू॑र वि॒द्वान् ||

pūṣaṇváte te cakr̥mā karambháṁ hárivate háryaśvāya dhānā́ḥ apūpám addhi ságaṇo marúdbhiḥ sómam piba vr̥trahā́ śūra vidvā́n

We've prepared the porridge for you, Indra, along with Pushan and those with bay horses. Eat the cake, O wise and heroic Vritra-slayer, and drink the Soma with the Maruts!

Stanza 3.52.8

प्रति॑ धा॒ना भ॑रत॒ तूय॑मस्मै पुरो॒ळाशं॑ वी॒रत॑माय नृ॒णाम् | दि॒वेदि॑वे स॒दृशी॑रिन्द्र॒ तुभ्यं॒ वर्ध॑न्तु त्वा सोम॒पेया॑य धृष्णो ||

práti dhānā́ bharata tū́yam asmai puroḷā́śaṁ vīrátamāya nr̥ṇā́m divé-dive sadŕ̥śīr indra túbhyaṁ várdhantu tvā somapéyāya dhr̥ṣṇo

Bring the roasted grains to him quickly, and the cake for the greatest hero among men! May these daily praises and hymns strengthen you, O bold Indra, for drinking Soma!
