Oh Agni, you desire my strength! You've made me the priest of Soma, ready to worship in this gathering. You shine towards the gods, and I've set up the pressing stones. I'm working hard; please, Agni, find joy in yourself!

íḷām agne purudáṁsaṁ saníṁ góḥ śaśvattamáṁ hávamānāya sādha syā́n naḥ sūnús tánayo vijā́vā́gne sā́ te sumatír bhūtv asmé
Agni, provide for the one who calls you: nourishment, cows, and lasting success. May we have a son and continuing offspring. Agni, may your favor remain with us!
