    Stanza 3.15.1

    वि पाज॑सा पृ॒थुना॒ शोशु॑चानो॒ बाध॑स्व द्वि॒षो र॒क्षसो॒ अमी॑वाः | सु॒शर्म॑णो बृह॒तः शर्म॑णि स्याम॒ग्नेर॒हं सु॒हव॑स्य॒ प्रणी॑तौ ||

    ví pā́jasā pr̥thúnā śóśucāno bā́dhasva dviṣó rakṣáso ámīvāḥ suśármaṇo br̥hatáḥ śármaṇi syām agnér aháṁ suhávasya práṇītau

    Shining with your immense and radiant power, push away the enemies, demons, and sicknesses. May we live safely under your grand protection, guided by you, Agni, who is easy to call and leads us well.

    Stanza 3.15.2

    त्वं नो॑ अ॒स्या उ॒षसो॒ व्यु॑ष्टौ॒ त्वं सूर॒ उदि॑ते बोधि गो॒पाः | जन्मे॑व॒ नित्यं॒ तन॑यं जुषस्व॒ स्तोमं॑ मे अग्ने त॒न्वा॑ सुजात ||

    tváṁ no asyā́ uṣáso vyùṣṭau tváṁ sū́ra údite bodhi gopā́ḥ jánmeva nítyaṁ tánayaṁ juṣasva stómam me agne tanvāā̀ sujāta

    Be our protector as this dawn breaks and as the sun rises. O Agni, nobly born, please accept this praise from me, cherishing it like a parent cherishes their own newborn child.

    Stanza 3.15.3

    त्वं नृ॒चक्षा॑ वृष॒भानु॑ पू॒र्वीः कृ॒ष्णास्व॑ग्ने अरु॒षो वि भा॑हि | वसो॒ नेषि॑ च॒ पर्षि॒ चात्यंहः॑ कृ॒धी नो॑ रा॒य उ॒शिजो॑ यविष्ठ ||

    tváṁ nr̥cákṣā vr̥ṣabhā́nu pūrvī́ḥ kr̥ṣṇā́sv agne aruṣó ví bhāhi váso néṣi ca párṣi cā́ty áṁhaḥ kr̥dhī́ no rāyá uśíjo yaviṣṭha

    You watch over people, O bull-like Agni! Shine brilliantly, especially in the darkness, with your red glow. O Vasu (bestower of wealth), lead us and carry us through all difficulties. Help us, O youngest one, to gain riches!

    Stanza 3.15.4

    अषा॑ळ्हो अग्ने वृष॒भो दि॑दीहि॒ पुरो॒ विश्वाः॒ सौभ॑गा संजिगी॒वान् | य॒ज्ञस्य॑ ने॒ता प्र॑थ॒मस्य॑ पा॒योर्जात॑वेदो बृह॒तः सु॑प्रणीते ||

    áṣāḷho agne vr̥ṣabhó didīhi púro víśvāḥ saúbhagā saṁjigīvā́n yajñásya netā́ prathamásya pāyór jā́tavedo br̥hatáḥ supraṇīte

    Shine forth, O Agni, invincible bull, conquering all strongholds and fortunes! You lead the foremost sacrifice and its offering. O Jātavedas (knower of all births), you are the best guide to great prosperity.

    Stanza 3.15.5

    अच्छि॑द्रा॒ शर्म॑ जरितः पु॒रूणि॑ दे॒वाँ अच्छा॒ दीद्या॑नः सुमे॒धाः | रथो॒ न सस्नि॑र॒भि व॑क्षि॒ वाज॒मग्ने॒ त्वं रोद॑सी नः सु॒मेके॑ ||

    áchidrā śárma jaritaḥ purū́ṇi devā́m̐ áchā dī́dyānaḥ sumedhā́ḥ rátho ná sásnir abhí vakṣi vā́jam ágne tváṁ ródasī naḥ suméke

    O singer, you shine brightly towards the gods! Bring us many perfect shelters, and like a victorious chariot, bring us abundance. O Agni, you are the cause of our well-being, bringing both Heaven and Earth to us.

    Stanza 3.15.6

    प्र पी॑पय वृषभ॒ जिन्व॒ वाजा॒नग्ने॒ त्वं रोद॑सी नः सु॒दोघे॑ | दे॒वेभि॑र्देव सु॒रुचा॑ रुचा॒नो मा नो॒ मर्त॑स्य दुर्म॒तिः परि॑ ष्ठात् ||

    prá pīpaya vr̥ṣabha jínva vā́jān ágne tváṁ ródasī naḥ sudóghe devébhir deva surúcā rucānó mā́ no mártasya durmatíḥ pári ṣṭhāt

    O bull-like Agni, increase and energize our gains! O divine Agni, along with the gods, shine with beautiful radiance, and grant us the rich bounty of Heaven and Earth. May no mortal's ill-will ever surround us.

    Stanza 3.15.7

    इळा॑मग्ने पुरु॒दंसं॑ स॒निं गोः श॑श्वत्त॒मं हव॑मानाय साध | स्यान्नः॑ सू॒नुस्तन॑यो वि॒जावाग्ने॒ सा ते॑ सुम॒तिर्भू॑त्व॒स्मे ||

    íḷām agne purudáṁsaṁ saníṁ góḥ śaśvattamáṁ hávamānāya sādha syā́n naḥ sūnús tánayo vijā́vā́gne sā́ te sumatír bhūtv asmé

    O Agni, grant the "Ila" (nourishment) – abundant in cattle and wondrous gifts – to me, your caller. May we have a son and descendants! O Agni, may your good favor be with us and remain steadfastly.
