Stanza 2.26.1
ऋ॒जुरिच्छंसो॑ वनवद्वनुष्य॒तो दे॑व॒यन्निददे॑वयन्तम॒भ्य॑सत् | सु॒प्रा॒वीरिद्व॑नवत्पृ॒त्सु दु॒ष्टरं॒ यज्वेदय॑ज्यो॒र्वि भ॑जाति॒ भोज॑नम् ||
r̥júr íc cháṁso vanavad vanuṣyató devayánn íd ádevayantam abhy àsat suprāvī́r íd vanavat pr̥tsú duṣṭáraṁ yájvéd áyajyor ví bhajāti bhójanam
The honest seeker will win over his enemies, and the one devoted to the gods will conquer the godless. The zealous one will overcome the unbeatable, and the worshipper will share in the bounty with those who don't worship.
This verse describes a principle of cosmic justice and divine favor. It states that the righteous, those who seek the divine, and those who perform rituals will triumph over their adversaries and share in prosperity. Essentially, it's about how devotion and righteous actions lead to success and the sharing of good things in life.

yájasva vīra prá vihi manāyató bhadrám mánaḥ kr̥ṇuṣva vr̥tratū́rye havíṣ kr̥ṇuṣva subhágo yáthā́sasi bráhmaṇas páter áva ā́ vr̥ṇīmahe
Hero, perform your sacrifice! Drive away those who think too highly of themselves. Cultivate a strong and positive mind for fighting battles. Prepare your offerings so you can be fortunate, and we can seek the protection of Brahmanaspati.
This verse is an exhortation to a hero, encouraging active engagement in worship and combat. It urges the hero to perform sacrifices, to drive away arrogant foes, to cultivate a courageous and auspicious mindset for battle, and to prepare offerings so that they may succeed and gain the favor of Brahmanaspati, the lord of prayer and wisdom.

स इज्जने॑न॒ स वि॒शा स जन्म॑ना॒ स पु॒त्रैर्वाजं॑ भरते॒ धना॒ नृभिः॑ | दे॒वानां॒ यः पि॒तर॑मा॒विवा॑सति श्र॒द्धाम॑ना ह॒विषा॒ ब्रह्म॑ण॒स्पति॑म् ||
sá íj jánena sá viśā́ sá jánmanā sá putraír vā́jam bharate dhánā nŕ̥bhiḥ devā́nāṁ yáḥ pitáram āvívāsati śraddhā́manā havíṣā bráhmaṇas pátim
He who worships Brahmanaspati, the Father of the Gods, with faith and offerings, brings in abundance with his people, his household, his kin, and his children. He gains wealth alongside heroes too.
This stanza highlights the rewards of devotion, specifically to Brahmanaspati. It states that the person who truly worships Brahmanaspati, the 'Father of the Gods', with faith and offerings, not only gains wealth and abundance for themselves, their family, and community ('jana', 'viś', 'janman'), but also achieves glory and success alongside heroes.

yó asmai havyaír ghr̥távadbhir ávidhat prá tám prācā́ nayati bráhmaṇas pátiḥ uruṣyátīm áṁhaso rákṣatī riṣò 'ṁhóś cid asmā urucákrir ádbhutaḥ
Whoever honors him with offerings rich in ghee, Brahmanaspati leads him forward. He protects him from distress, guards him from harm, and is a wonderful protector for him against any trouble.
This verse describes how Brahmanaspati actively supports and protects those who honor him with offerings. It states that Brahmanaspati guides such individuals forward, saves them from troubles and dangers ('aṃhasaḥ', 'riṣaḥ'), and acts as a wondrous deliverer from distress, ensuring their well-being.
