Let your sacrifices help Agni, the knower of all life, grow! Worship Agni with your offerings and songs. He is brilliantly kindled, richly rewarded, the golden one, the divine priest who diligently works in all places.

sá no bodhi sahasya praśáṁsyo yásmin sujātā́ iṣáyanta sūráyaḥ yám agne yajñám upayánti vājíno nítye toké dīdivā́ṁsaṁ své dáme
O mighty Agni, be attentive to us and worthy of our praise! The noble and wise seek nourishment from you. Strong ones come to your sacrifice, O Agni, to shine in your home for enduring well-being.
The worshippers ask Agni, the powerful and ancient one, to be attentive to them and worthy of praise. They state that noble and strong individuals seek him for nourishment and his sacrifice, especially in his own home, for lasting well-being.

ubháyāso jātavedaḥ syāma te stotā́ro agne sūráyaś ca śármaṇi vásvo rāyáḥ puruścandrásya bhū́yasaḥ prajā́vataḥ svapatyásya śagdhi naḥ
O knower of all life, Agni, may we singers and generous leaders be in your protection. Help us obtain abundant, glorious wealth, rich with children and good descendants.
This verse concludes with a plea for Agni's protection. The worshippers, both those who sing praise and the generous leaders, wish to be under Agni's care. They ask for his help to obtain abundant wealth, which brings many children and prosperous descendants.

Agni, the generous leaders who offer gifts of cows and steeds to the singers, lead them and us forward! May we speak great things in assembly with our brave descendants.
