प्रैते व॑दन्तु॒ प्र व॒यं व॑दाम॒ ग्राव॑भ्यो॒ वाचं॑ वदता॒ वद॑द्भ्यः | यद॑द्रयः पर्वताः सा॒कमा॒शवः॒ श्लोकं॒ घोषं॒ भर॒थेन्द्रा॑य सो॒मिनः॑ ||
praíté vadantu prá vayáṁ vadāma grā́vabhyo vā́caṁ vadatā vádadbhyaḥ yád adrayaḥ parvatāḥ sākám āśávaḥ ślókaṁ ghóṣam bhárathéndrāya somínaḥ
Let these speak out loudly; let us speak out aloud. To the pressing stones, the speaking ones, let us address our speech. When, O stones, O mountains, you swift ones, united with Soma, bring forth a loud sound for Indra!
The pressing stones are urged to speak out loudly, and the humans join in, addressing the stones with their speech. They are invoked to bring forth a resounding praise for Indra, especially when they are filled with Soma juice and move together swiftly.
