Stanza 10.63.1

प॒रा॒वतो॒ ये दिधि॑षन्त॒ आप्यं॒ मनु॑प्रीतासो॒ जनि॑मा वि॒वस्व॑तः | य॒याते॒र्ये न॑हु॒ष्य॑स्य ब॒र्हिषि॑ दे॒वा आस॑ते॒ ते अधि॑ ब्रुवन्तु नः ||

parāváto yé dídhiṣanta ā́pyam mánuprītāso jánimā vivásvataḥ yayā́ter yé nahuṣyàsya barhíṣi devā́ ā́sate té ádhi bruvantu naḥ

May those who desire kinship from afar, the cherished descendants of Manu and Vivasvan, and the Gods who sit on the sacred grass of Yayati's lineage, bless us.

Stanza 10.63.2

विश्वा॒ हि वो॑ नम॒स्या॑नि॒ वन्द्या॒ नामा॑नि देवा उ॒त य॒ज्ञिया॑नि वः | ये स्थ जा॒ता अदि॑तेर॒द्भ्यस्परि॒ ये पृ॑थि॒व्यास्ते म॑ इ॒ह श्रु॑ता॒ हव॑म् ||

víśvā hí vo namasyāā̀ni vándyā nā́māni devā utá yajñíyāni vaḥ yé sthá jātā́ áditer adbhyás pári yé pr̥thivyā́s té ma ihá śrutā hávam

Indeed, all your names, O Gods, are worthy of reverence and worship, and worthy of sacrifice. You who were born from the waters, from Aditi, and from the Earth, may you hear our call here.

Stanza 10.63.3

येभ्यो॑ मा॒ता मधु॑म॒त्पिन्व॑ते॒ पयः॑ पी॒यूषं॒ द्यौरदि॑ति॒रद्रि॑बर्हाः | उ॒क्थशु॑ष्मान्वृषभ॒रान्त्स्वप्न॑स॒स्ताँ आ॑दि॒त्याँ अनु॑ मदा स्व॒स्तये॑ ||

yébhyo mātā́ mádhumat pínvate páyaḥ pīyū́ṣaṁ dyaúr áditir ádribarhāḥ uktháśuṣmān vr̥ṣabharā́n svápnasas tā́m̐ ādityā́m̐ ánu madā svastáye

For these Adityas, I will rejoice for my well-being, for whom the Mother pours sweet milk, and Dyaus, the sky-father, firm and mighty, nourishes. I invoke these Adityas, strong through praise, for my welfare.

Stanza 10.63.4

नृ॒चक्ष॑सो॒ अनि॑मिषन्तो अ॒र्हणा॑ बृ॒हद्दे॒वासो॑ अमृत॒त्वमा॑नशुः | ज्यो॒तीर॑था॒ अहि॑माया॒ अना॑गसो दि॒वो व॒र्ष्माणं॑ वसते स्व॒स्तये॑ ||

nr̥cákṣaso ánimiṣanto arháṇā br̥hád devā́so amr̥tatvám ānaśuḥ jyotī́rathā áhimāyā ánāgaso divó varṣmā́ṇaṁ vasate svastáye

The gods, watchful and never-sleeping, through their greatness have attained immortality. Radiant, sinless, and powerful, they dwell in the highest heaven for our welfare.

Stanza 10.63.5

स॒म्राजो॒ ये सु॒वृधो॑ य॒ज्ञमा॑य॒युरप॑रिह्वृता दधि॒रे दि॒वि क्षय॑म् | ताँ आ वि॑वास॒ नम॑सा सुवृ॒क्तिभि॑र्म॒हो आ॑दि॒त्याँ अदि॑तिं स्व॒स्तये॑ ||

samrā́jo yé suvŕ̥dho yajñám āyayúr áparihvr̥tā dadhiré diví kṣáyam tā́m̐ ā́ vivāsa námasā suvr̥ktíbhir mahó ādityā́m̐ áditiṁ svastáye

May we worship with reverence and hymns these great, blessing kings, the Adityas, who have come to the sacrifice, and who, unassailed, have established their dwelling in the heavens, and Aditi, for our well-being.

Stanza 10.63.6

को वः॒ स्तोमं॑ राधति॒ यं जुजो॑षथ॒ विश्वे॑ देवासो मनुषो॒ यति॒ ष्ठन॑ | को वो॑ऽध्व॒रं तु॑विजाता॒ अरं॑ कर॒द्यो नः॒ पर्ष॒दत्यंहः॑ स्व॒स्तये॑ ||

kó va stómaṁ rādhati yáṁ jújoṣatha víśve devāso manuṣo yáti ṣṭhána kó vo 'dhvaráṁ tuvijātā áraṁ karad yó naḥ párṣad áty áṁhaḥ svastáye

Who among you, O all Gods of Manu, many as you are, accepts this hymn of praise? Which of you, mighty beings, can prepare a sacrifice that will carry us beyond distress to well-being?

Stanza 10.63.7

येभ्यो॒ होत्रां॑ प्रथ॒मामा॑ये॒जे मनुः॒ समि॑द्धाग्नि॒र्मन॑सा स॒प्त होतृ॑भिः | त आ॑दित्या॒ अभ॑यं॒ शर्म॑ यच्छत सु॒गा नः॑ कर्त सु॒पथा॑ स्व॒स्तये॑ ||

yébhyo hótrām prathamā́m āyejé mánuḥ sámiddhāgnir mánasā saptá hótr̥bhiḥ tá ādityā ábhayaṁ śárma yachata sugā́ naḥ karta supáthā svastáye

To whom Manu, with kindled fire and mind, offered the first oblation with seven priests, you Adityas, grant us fearless protection, and make our ways smooth and leading to well-being.

Stanza 10.63.8

य ईशि॑रे॒ भुव॑नस्य॒ प्रचे॑तसो॒ विश्व॑स्य स्था॒तुर्जग॑तश्च॒ मन्त॑वः | ते नः॑ कृ॒तादकृ॑ता॒देन॑स॒स्पर्य॒द्या दे॑वासः पिपृता स्व॒स्तये॑ ||

yá ī́śire bhúvanasya prácetaso víśvasya sthātúr jágataś ca mántavaḥ té naḥ kr̥tā́d ákr̥tād énasas páry adyā́ devāsaḥ pipr̥tā svastáye

You wise and perceptive gods, who rule over the moving and unmoving world, protect us from committed and uncommitted sin, from this day forward, for our well-being.

Stanza 10.63.9

भरे॒ष्विन्द्रं॑ सु॒हवं॑ हवामहेंऽहो॒मुचं॑ सु॒कृतं॒ दैव्यं॒ जन॑म् | अ॒ग्निं मि॒त्रं वरु॑णं सा॒तये॒ भगं॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी म॒रुतः॑ स्व॒स्तये॑ ||

bháreṣv índraṁ suhávaṁ havāmahe 'ṁhomúcaṁ sukŕ̥taṁ daívyaṁ jánam agním mitráṁ váruṇaṁ sātáye bhágaṁ dyā́vāpr̥thivī́ marútaḥ svastáye

In battles, we invoke Indra, easy to call, the sorrow-removing, righteous divine beings. We invoke Agni, Mitra, Varuna for protection, Bhaga, Dyavaprithivi, the Maruts, for our well-being.

Stanza 10.63.10

सु॒त्रामा॑णं पृथि॒वीं द्याम॑ने॒हसं॑ सु॒शर्मा॑ण॒मदि॑तिं सु॒प्रणी॑तिम् | दैवीं॒ नावं॑ स्वरि॒त्रामना॑गस॒मस्र॑वन्ती॒मा रु॑हेमा स्व॒स्तये॑ ||

sutrā́māṇam pr̥thivī́ṁ dyā́m anehásaṁ suśármāṇam áditiṁ supráṇītim daívīṁ nā́vaṁ svaritrā́m ánāgasam ásravantīm ā́ ruhemā svastáye

May we ascend for well-being the divine, well-oared, sinless, unsinkable ship, with the mighty-protecting Earth, the boundless Heaven, and the well-guiding Aditi.

Stanza 10.63.11

विश्वे॑ यजत्रा॒ अधि॑ वोचतो॒तये॒ त्राय॑ध्वं नो दु॒रेवा॑या अभि॒ह्रुतः॑ | स॒त्यया॑ वो दे॒वहू॑त्या हुवेम शृण्व॒तो दे॑वा॒ अव॑से स्व॒स्तये॑ ||

víśve yajatrā ádhi vocatotáye trā́yadhvaṁ no durévāyā abhihrútaḥ satyáyā vo deváhūtyā huvema śr̥ṇvató devā ávase svastáye

O all worthy-to-be-worshipped ones, speak forth for our help! Protect us from wicked, harmful influences. With truthful divine calls, may we invoke you; O Gods, listen to us for grace and well-being.

Stanza 10.63.12

अपामी॑वा॒मप॒ विश्वा॒मना॑हुति॒मपारा॑तिं दुर्वि॒दत्रा॑मघाय॒तः | आ॒रे दे॑वा॒ द्वेषो॑ अ॒स्मद्यु॑योतनो॒रु णः॒ शर्म॑ यच्छता स्व॒स्तये॑ ||

ápā́mīvām ápa víśvām ánāhutim ápā́rātiṁ durvidátrām aghāyatáḥ āré devā dvéṣo asmád yuyotanorú ṇaḥ śárma yachatā svastáye

O Gods, keep away disease, improper sacrifice, and hateful enmity from the wicked far from us. Remove hatred from us, and grant us ample shelter for our well-being.

Stanza 10.63.13

अरि॑ष्टः॒ स मर्तो॒ विश्व॑ एधते॒ प्र प्र॒जाभि॑र्जायते॒ धर्म॑ण॒स्परि॑ | यमा॑दित्यासो॒ नय॑था सुनी॒तिभि॒रति॒ विश्वा॑नि दुरि॒ता स्व॒स्तये॑ ||

áriṣṭaḥ sá márto víśva edhate prá-prajā́bhir jāyate dhármaṇas pári yám ādityāso náyathā sunītíbhir áti víśvāni duritā́ svastáye

He who is unharmed thrives universally and is born with progeny according to righteousness. O Adityas, whom you lead with good guidance through all difficulties, may he attain well-being.

Stanza 10.63.14

यं दे॑वा॒सोऽव॑थ॒ वाज॑सातौ॒ यं शूर॑साता मरुतो हि॒ते धने॑ | प्रा॒त॒र्यावा॑णं॒ रथ॑मिन्द्र सान॒सिमरि॑ष्यन्त॒मा रु॑हेमा स्व॒स्तये॑ ||

yáṁ devāsó 'vatha vā́jasātau yáṁ śū́rasātā maruto hité dháne prātaryā́vāṇaṁ rátham indra sānasím áriṣyantam ā́ ruhemā svastáye

O Gods, whom you protect in contests, O Maruts, whom you aid in battles and riches! O Indra, may we ascend the victorious chariot that travels at dawn, the unconquerable one, for our well-being.

Stanza 10.63.15

स्व॒स्ति नः॑ प॒थ्या॑सु॒ धन्व॑सु स्व॒स्त्य१॒॑प्सु वृ॒जने॒ स्व॑र्वति | स्व॒स्ति नः॑ पुत्रकृ॒थेषु॒ योनि॑षु स्व॒स्ति रा॒ये म॑रुतो दधातन ||

svastí naḥ pathyāā̀su dhánvasu svasty àpsú vr̥jáne svàrvati svastí naḥ putrakr̥théṣu yóniṣu svastí rāyé maruto dadhātana

May there be well-being for us on paths and in deserts, well-being in waters and in battle-fields. May there be well-being for us in places of childbirth. O Maruts, grant us well-being for riches.

Stanza 10.63.16

स्व॒स्तिरिद्धि प्रप॑थे॒ श्रेष्ठा॒ रेक्ण॑स्वत्य॒भि या वा॒ममेति॑ | सा नो॑ अ॒मा सो अर॑णे॒ नि पा॑तु स्वावे॒शा भ॑वतु दे॒वगो॑पा ||

svastír íd dhí prápathe śréṣṭhā rékṇasvaty abhí yā́ vāmám éti sā́ no amā́ só áraṇe ní pātu svāveśā́ bhavatu devágopā

Indeed, the best well-being, rich with abundance, approaches through the path. May it protect us at home and abroad, and may it be with us, guarded by the gods.

Stanza 10.63.17

ए॒वा प्ल॒तेः सू॒नुर॑वीवृधद्वो॒ विश्व॑ आदित्या अदिते मनी॒षी | ई॒शा॒नासो॒ नरो॒ अम॑र्त्ये॒नास्ता॑वि॒ जनो॑ दि॒व्यो गये॑न ||

evā́ platéḥ sūnúr avīvr̥dhad vo víśva ādityā adite manīṣī́ īśānā́so náro ámartyenā́stāvi jáno divyó gáyena

Thus, O Aditi and all Adityas, the thoughtful son of Plati has praised you. The immortal gods have made the people rich; the divine folk have been praised by Gaya.
