Stanza 10.6.1
अ॒यं स यस्य॒ शर्म॒न्नवो॑भिर॒ग्नेरेध॑ते जरि॒ताभिष्टौ॑ | ज्येष्ठे॑भि॒र्यो भा॒नुभि॑र्ऋषू॒णां प॒र्येति॒ परि॑वीतो वि॒भावा॑ ||
ayáṁ sá yásya śármann ávobhir agnér édhate jaritā́bhíṣṭau jyéṣṭhebhir yó bhānúbhir r̥ṣūṇā́m paryéti párivīto vibhā́vā
This is that Agni, by whose protection and help the singer thrives. He shines with the best flames, and with brilliant rays, surrounded by light, he moves around the divine sages.

Agni shines brightly with his splendor, accompanied by the gods. He is eternal and without decline. He has come to his friends with friendship, like a swift horse that does not falter.

ī́śe yó víśvasyā devávīter ī́śe viśvā́yur uṣáso vyùṣṭau ā́ yásmin manā́ havī́ṁṣy agnā́v áriṣṭaratha skabhnā́ti śūṣaíḥ
He who rules over all divine offerings and all life at dawn. Agni, at the break of day, is Lord. In whom our prayers and offerings, made to Agni, are stabilized by his powers.
This verse describes Agni as the supreme ruler of all divine offerings and all life at the dawn. He is the lord of the world, and at the breaking of the day, he sustains our hymns and prayers. Growing by his strength and pleased by hymns, he moves towards the gods with swift flight. The delightful Agni, the priest, the most worshipful, blends with the gods with his tongue.
This verse describes Agni's movement and function in the cosmos. He is invigorated by his own strength and pleased by hymns. Agni, the divine priest and sacrificer, travels swiftly towards the gods with his hymns and offerings, and with his tongue, he mingles and satisfies the gods.

In whom all treasures assemble, like horses and riders in battle. Agni, bring forth to us your most effective help, support which is also desired by Indra.
This verse speaks of Agni as the central point where all riches and powers converge. He is compared to a multitude of horses and riders gathered for a great prize. Indeed, O Agni, upon your birth, when you sat in glory, you became an object of worship. The gods approached you, following your command. Then they grew, becoming the foremost protectors.
This verse celebrates Agni's divine birth and his immediate acceptance by the gods. Upon his birth, Agni, in his glory, becomes the object of divine invocation. The gods then approached him, acknowledging his supremacy, and in doing so, they attained their positions as the foremost protectors.
