The Fathers also obtained a portion of their greatness; the gods placed their own power in them. They encompassed all energies within themselves, and those energies, having emerged, entered back into their bodies.
This verse speaks about the greatness of certain beings, stating that even the 'Fathers' (ancestors or a class of deities) have a share in their glory. The gods have bestowed mental power upon them, making them divine. These beings have encompassed all energies within themselves, and these energies, upon emerging, re-enter their bodies, signifying a cyclical and integrated existence.

In two ways the sons established the Asura who finds light; through the third action. As fathers, they placed their paternal heritage and strength in the lower realms, and established the spread-out thread.
This verse describes how the 'sons' (possibly referring to divine beings or descendants) established the 'Asura' (a cosmic being or force) who finds the light in a dual manner. Through a third specific action or ritual, the 'Fathers' (ancestors/deities) have placed their paternal heritage and strength within the lower realms. They have also established a continuously woven thread, symbolizing continuity and connection.

The speaker, or a figure named Br̥ihaduktha, is said to have successfully guided their 'offspring' and 'glory' through all obstacles, both in the earthly realm and beyond. This journey is facilitated by auspicious blessings and immense power, ensuring safe passage.
