तां सु ते॑ की॒र्तिं म॑घवन्महि॒त्वा यत्त्वा॑ भी॒ते रोद॑सी॒ अह्व॑येताम् | प्रावो॑ दे॒वाँ आति॑रो॒ दास॒मोजः॑ प्र॒जायै॑ त्वस्यै॒ यदशि॑क्ष इन्द्र ||
tā́ṁ sú te kīrtím maghavan mahitvā́ yát tvā bhīté ródasī áhvayetām prā́vo devā́m̐ ā́tiro dā́sam ójaḥ prajā́yai tvasyai yád áśikṣa indra
O Indra, your fame and greatness are sung. When the frightened heavens and earth called upon you, you, O Indra, protected the gods, destroyed the enemy, and helped many people. You are the one who always accomplishes these great deeds.
The poet praises Indra, the generous giver, recalling his might. When the heavens and earth (rodsasi) trembled in fear, they called upon Indra. Indra, the protector of gods, who destroyed the enemy (Dasa), is the one who aided many in times of need. The poet implores Indra to remember his fame and greatness.

यदच॑रस्त॒न्वा॑ वावृधा॒नो बला॑नीन्द्र प्रब्रुवा॒णो जने॑षु | मा॒येत्सा ते॒ यानि॑ यु॒द्धान्या॒हुर्नाद्य शत्रुं॑ न॒नु पु॒रा वि॑वित्से ||
yád ácaras tanvāā̀ vāvr̥dhānó bálānīndra prabruvāṇó jáneṣu māyét sā́ te yā́ni yuddhā́ny āhúr nā́dyá śátruṁ nanú purā́ vivitse
O Indra, when you moved with your body, growing strong and proclaiming your power among people, all that they called your battles was mere illusion. Today, you have no enemy, nor did you ever have one before.
Indra is described as moving with great strength and proclaiming his power among people. The battles and feats attributed to him are said to be like illusions, suggesting his power is beyond ordinary comprehension. The stanza asserts that Indra has no equal or enemy, either now or in the past.

Who among the ancient sages truly understood the limits of your greatness? For you yourself, from your own body, created both mother and father at the same time.

O Indra, you have four powerful and inviolable divine names and attributes. You, O powerful one, know all of them, by which you have performed your deeds.

You possess all treasures, both manifest and hidden. O Indra, do not, please, delay my desire. You are the controller, you are the giver.
Indra is praised for possessing all treasures, both those that are evident and those that are hidden. The poet expresses a personal plea to Indra, asking him not to delay fulfilling his desires. The stanza concludes by affirming Indra's roles as the ultimate director and giver.

He who placed light within light, and mixed the sweet essences with sweetness, has made this strengthening hymn for Indra. It has been spoken from the Br̥haduktha verse.
This stanza praises the creator deity, presumably Indra, for establishing light within light and blending sweet essences. It states that this strengthening hymn is offered to Indra, and was composed and recited by the sage Br̥haduktha.
