Stanza 10.50.1

प्र वो॑ म॒हे मन्द॑माना॒यान्ध॒सोऽर्चा॑ वि॒श्वान॑राय विश्वा॒भुवे॑ | इन्द्र॑स्य॒ यस्य॒ सुम॑खं॒ सहो॒ महि॒ श्रवो॑ नृ॒म्णं च॒ रोद॑सी सप॒र्यतः॑ ||

prá vo mahé mándamānāyā́ndhasó 'rcā viśvā́narāya viśvābhúve índrasya yásya súmakhaṁ sáho máhi śrávo nr̥mṇáṁ ca ródasī saparyátaḥ

We praise you, great Indra, who rejoices in the sacred drink, who is the source of sustenance for all and the creator of all. Indra, whose immense strength and glory are celebrated, whom heaven and earth serve.

Stanza 10.50.2

सो चि॒न्नु सख्या॒ नर्य॑ इ॒नः स्तु॒तश्च॒र्कृत्य॒ इन्द्रो॒ माव॑ते॒ नरे॑ | विश्वा॑सु धू॒र्षु वा॑ज॒कृत्ये॑षु सत्पते वृ॒त्रे वा॒प्स्व१॒॑भि शू॑र मन्दसे ||

só cin nú sákhyā nárya iná stutáś carkŕ̥tya índro mā́vate náre víśvāsu dhūrṣú vājakŕ̥tyeṣu satpate vr̥tré vāpsv àbhí śūra mandase

He, this mighty Indra, is indeed active with his friends, honored and beneficial to humankind. He is praised and worthy of praise, to be invoked by one like me. O hero, lord of the strong, you delight in all battles, in the struggle against Vritra, in the waters, and in acquiring wealth.

Stanza 10.50.3

के ते नर॑ इन्द्र॒ ये त॑ इ॒षे ये ते॑ सु॒म्नं स॑ध॒न्य१॒॑मिय॑क्षान् | के ते॒ वाजा॑यासु॒र्या॑य हिन्विरे॒ के अ॒प्सु स्वासू॒र्वरा॑सु॒ पौंस्ये॑ ||

ké té nára indra yé ta iṣé yé te sumnáṁ sadhanyàm íyakṣān ké te vā́jāyāsuryāā̀ya hinvire ké apsú svā́sūrvárāsu paúṁsye

O Indra, who are those men who are with you? Who are those who seek your favor and share in your prosperity? Who are those who urge you on for riches, for power, for battles? Who are those who move you to action in the waters, in fertile lands, in your strength?

Stanza 10.50.4

भुव॒स्त्वमि॑न्द्र॒ ब्रह्म॑णा म॒हान्भुवो॒ विश्वे॑षु॒ सव॑नेषु य॒ज्ञियः॑ | भुवो॒ नॄँश्च्यौ॒त्नो विश्व॑स्मि॒न्भरे॒ ज्येष्ठ॑श्च॒ मन्त्रो॑ विश्वचर्षणे ||

bhúvas tvám indra bráhmaṇā mahā́n bhúvo víśveṣu sávaneṣu yajñíyaḥ bhúvo nr̥ŕ̥ṁś cyautnó víśvasmin bháre jyéṣṭhaś ca mántro viśvacarṣaṇe

You, Indra, have become great through devotion. You are worthy of worship in all assemblies. You have struck down heroes in every battle. You are the greatest, the most revered, and the most widely known.

Stanza 10.50.5

अवा॒ नु कं॒ ज्याया॑न्य॒ज्ञव॑नसो म॒हीं त॒ ओमा॑त्रां कृ॒ष्टयो॑ विदुः | असो॒ नु क॑म॒जरो॒ वर्धा॑श्च॒ विश्वेदे॒ता सव॑ना तूतु॒मा कृ॑षे ||

ávā nú kaṁ jyā́yān yajñávanaso mahī́ṁ ta ómātrāṁ kr̥ṣṭáyo viduḥ áso nú kam ajáro várdhāś ca víśvéd etā́ sávanā tūtumā́ kr̥ṣe

Come, Indra, help us now, you who are the greatest. The people know your great protective power. May you become eternal, O bestower of gifts. Make all these Soma preparations vibrant and strong.

Stanza 10.50.6

ए॒ता विश्वा॒ सव॑ना तूतु॒मा कृ॑षे स्व॒यं सू॑नो सहसो॒ यानि॑ दधि॒षे | वरा॑य ते॒ पात्रं॒ धर्म॑णे॒ तना॑ य॒ज्ञो मन्त्रो॒ ब्रह्मोद्य॑तं॒ वचः॑ ||

etā́ víśvā sávanā tūtumā́ kr̥ṣe svayáṁ sūno sahaso yā́ni dadhiṣé várāya te pā́traṁ dhármaṇe tánā yajñó mántro bráhmódyataṁ vácaḥ

You make all these Soma preparations effective, O Son of Strength, you who yourself supports them. Therefore, your vessel is superior, your sacrifice, your prayer, and your exalted speech.

Stanza 10.50.7

ये ते॑ विप्र ब्रह्म॒कृतः॑ सु॒ते सचा॒ वसू॑नां च॒ वसु॑नश्च दा॒वने॑ | प्र ते सु॒म्नस्य॒ मन॑सा प॒था भु॑व॒न्मदे॑ सु॒तस्य॑ सो॒म्यस्यान्ध॑सः ||

yé te vipra brahmakŕ̥taḥ suté sácā vásūnāṁ ca vásunaś ca dāváne prá té sumnásya mánasā pathā́ bhuvan máde sutásya somyásyā́ndhasaḥ

O Sage, those men who, devoted to you and skilled in ritual, drink the Soma juice, and desire your wealth and the wealth of the generous. May they, through their spirit, advance on the path of bliss, in the joy of the pressed Soma drink.
