दि॒वस्परि॑ प्रथ॒मं ज॑ज्ञे अ॒ग्निर॒स्मद्द्वि॒तीयं॒ परि॑ जा॒तवे॑दाः | तृ॒तीय॑म॒प्सु नृ॒मणा॒ अज॑स्र॒मिन्धा॑न एनं जरते स्वा॒धीः ||
divás pári prathamáṁ jajñe agnír asmád dvitī́yam pári jātávedāḥ tr̥tī́yam apsú nr̥máṇā ájasram índhāna enaṁ jarate svādhī́ḥ
Agni was first born from the sky. As Jātavedas, he was born a second time from us. Thirdly, the man-hearted one was born in the waters. The wise, ever-burning one, reveres him.

O Agni, those who worship you day by day obtain all desirable treasures. Allied with you, seeking wealth, the wise have opened the stable full of cows.

Agni, the friend of men, the best keeper, the Vaishvanara, has been praised by the sages. May we invoke the peaceful Earth and Heaven. O Gods, grant us wealth with heroic children.
