I perceived you with my mind, O conscious one, born of spiritual discipline, flourishing by spiritual discipline. Bestowing offspring here, bestowing wealth, may you be born through progeny, O you who desire children.
This verse expresses a deep, introspective vision. The speaker sees a divine entity, perceived through the mind and born from spiritual discipline (tapas), thriving and radiant from that same discipline. The speaker then invokes this entity, asking it to bestow offspring and wealth, and to multiply through progeny, specifically addressing it as someone who desires children.
