Stanza 10.180.1

प्र स॑साहिषे पुरुहूत॒ शत्रू॒ञ्ज्येष्ठ॑स्ते॒ शुष्म॑ इ॒ह रा॒तिर॑स्तु | इन्द्रा भ॑र॒ दक्षि॑णेना॒ वसू॑नि॒ पतिः॒ सिन्धू॑नामसि रे॒वती॑नाम् ||

prá sasāhiṣe puruhūta śátrūñ jyéṣṭhas te śúṣma ihá rātír astu índrā́ bhara dákṣiṇenā vásūni pátiḥ síndhūnām asi revátīnām

O greatly invoked Indra, you have conquered your enemies. May your greatest strength and generosity be here. Indra, bring us wealth with your right hand. You are the lord of the rich rivers.

Stanza 10.180.2

मृ॒गो न भी॒मः कु॑च॒रो गि॑रि॒ष्ठाः प॑रा॒वत॒ आ ज॑गन्था॒ पर॑स्याः | सृ॒कं सं॒शाय॑ प॒विमि॑न्द्र ति॒ग्मं वि शत्रू॑न्ताळ्हि॒ वि मृधो॑ नुदस्व ||

mr̥gó ná bhīmáḥ kucaró giriṣṭhā́ḥ parāváta ā́ jaganthā párasyāḥ sr̥káṁ saṁśā́ya pavím indra tigmáṁ ví śátrūn tāḷhi ví mŕ̥dho nudasva

Like a fearsome wild beast that roams the mountains, you have come from afar. O Indra, sharpen your sharp blade, strike down the enemies, and drive away the hateful ones.

Stanza 10.180.3

इन्द्र॑ क्ष॒त्रम॒भि वा॒ममोजोऽजा॑यथा वृषभ चर्षणी॒नाम् | अपा॑नुदो॒ जन॑ममित्र॒यन्त॑मु॒रुं दे॒वेभ्यो॑ अकृणोरु लो॒कम् ||

índra kṣatrám abhí vāmám ójó 'jāyathā vr̥ṣabha carṣaṇīnā́m ápānudo jánam amitrayántam urúṁ devébhyo akr̥ṇor ulokám

Indra, you were born with great strength for the well-being of people. O bull among beings, you drove away the hostile people. You made a vast space for the gods.
