Stanza 10.161.1

मु॒ञ्चामि॑ त्वा ह॒विषा॒ जीव॑नाय॒ कम॑ज्ञातय॒क्ष्मादु॒त रा॑जय॒क्ष्मात् | ग्राहि॑र्ज॒ग्राह॒ यदि॑ वै॒तदे॑नं॒ तस्या॑ इन्द्राग्नी॒ प्र मु॑मुक्तमेनम् ||

muñcā́mi tvā havíṣā jī́vanāya kám ajñātayakṣmā́d utá rājayakṣmā́t grā́hir jagrā́ha yádi vaitád enaṁ tásyā indrāgnī prá mumuktam enam

For the sake of life, I release you with this offering from the unknown disease and from the royal disease. If a seizing entity has indeed taken hold of them, O Indra and Agni, you two, please release him from it.

Stanza 10.161.2

यदि॑ क्षि॒तायु॒र्यदि॑ वा॒ परे॑तो॒ यदि॑ मृ॒त्योर॑न्ति॒कं नी॑त ए॒व | तमा ह॑रामि॒ निर्ऋ॑तेरु॒पस्था॒दस्पा॑र्षमेनं श॒तशा॑रदाय ||

yádi kṣitā́yur yádi vā páreto yádi mr̥tyór antikáṁ nīā̀ta evá tám ā́ harāmi nírr̥ter upásthād áspārṣam enaṁ śatáśāradāya

If his life is spent, if he has departed, if he has been brought near to death, even then, I will bring him back from Nirrti's grasp, and save him for a hundred autumns.

Stanza 10.161.3

स॒ह॒स्रा॒क्षेण॑ श॒तशा॑रदेन श॒तायु॑षा ह॒विषाहा॑र्षमेनम् | श॒तं यथे॒मं श॒रदो॒ नया॒तीन्द्रो॒ विश्व॑स्य दुरि॒तस्य॑ पा॒रम् ||

sahasrākṣéṇa śatáśāradena śatā́yuṣā havíṣā́hārṣam enam śatáṁ yáthemáṁ śarádo náyātī́ndro víśvasya duritásya pārám

With oblations that are thousand-eyed, hundred-autumned, and bestowing a hundred lives, I have brought him back. May Indra lead him for a hundred years, beyond all misfortune.

Stanza 10.161.4

श॒तं जी॑व श॒रदो॒ वर्ध॑मानः श॒तं हे॑म॒न्ताञ्छ॒तमु॑ वस॒न्तान् | श॒तमि॑न्द्रा॒ग्नी स॑वि॒ता बृह॒स्पतिः॑ श॒तायु॑षा ह॒विषे॒मं पुन॑र्दुः ||

śatáṁ jīva śarádo várdhamānaḥ śatáṁ hemantā́ñ chatám u vasantā́n śatám indrāgnī́ savitā́ bŕ̥haspátiḥ śatā́yuṣā havíṣemám púnar duḥ

Live a hundred autumns, growing stronger, live through a hundred winters and a hundred springs. May Indra, Agni, Savitar, and Brihaspati, with offerings that grant a hundred lives, restore him for a hundred years.

Stanza 10.161.5

आहा॑र्षं॒ त्वावि॑दं त्वा॒ पुन॒रागाः॑ पुनर्नव | सर्वा॑ङ्ग॒ सर्वं॑ ते॒ चक्षुः॒ सर्व॒मायु॑श्च तेऽविदम् ||

ā́hārṣaṁ tvā́vidaṁ tvā púnar ā́gāḥ punarnava sárvāṅga sárvaṁ te cákṣuḥ sárvam ā́yuś ca te 'vidam

I have brought you back; you have come again, renewed. With all your limbs, with all your sight, with all your life, I have found you.
