I praise you, Agni, like Indra, rich in wondrous power, a delightful and welcome guest. May Agni, the priest and master of the house, grant us abundant riches and heroic strength.

Agni, who is wise and knows all regulations, graciously accept my words. O excellent one, adorned with ghee, lead the way for prayer; the gods have established your order and actions.
